restaurant is really nice. We usually are fine with the rooms - they are small but this is NYC. However, we were given a terrible room this time. Very small with one side of the bed along a wall. How is a second person supposed to get in and out of bed? Plus bathroom had everything in one room. I n other rooms the toilet is separate allowing two people to use the bathroom at anytime.
Written above.
the location is the only thing in this hotel, staff is horrible giving you feeling like they do you favor something I never seen in my life before.
the staff! especially in the front desk / check in - lack of customer service - giving you feeling like its free hotel and they doing favor for you.
Great kocation for Greenpoint and Williamsburg places
The location was great, the building is old and cool, the 2 bars on site are a great vibe
Room was tiny and uncomfortable, windows floor to ceiling which could have been cool but the shades did not block out the light (SO bright in the mornings) and there was a huge crack in the window which freaked me out a bit.
The walls are paper thin, I could hear every single thing our neighbors did and said easily.
The service was just ok and the elevators took forever - any time you need to go anywhere, you should add 10 extra minutes just to get down to the ground floor.
Arlo is always so very welcoming and it’s in the best neighborhood in Brooklyn!
Nothing negative about this hotel!
