The room was nice, friendly staff and a nice breakfast, (we had eaten out with friends the previous evening). Also, there was easy parking a few yards from our room, which was great as it was pouring with rain.
Nothing that spring to mind.
Good friendly professional staff.
Nice spacious room.
Good food eaten in front of a roaring fire.
Very central location with good accessible transport links.
If you are staying in the courtyard rooms, just be aware that to access some, you have to use a spiral staircase. The stairs are quite steep, and if it rains, the handrail becomes very slippery, so you need to be careful not to fall/miss your footing.
Breakfast was pleasant. Good location and use of parking. Room was indeed cosy it met our needs.
Needed to ask for some things to be replenished at breakfast and further crockery etc. Would have loved fire in pub to have kept going past 8pm.
Our breakfasts were very good, lovely the location,
It's a shame that the bathroom was so cold, due to both heated towel rails not working.
Great location, excellent breakfast and provides parking.
Minor point was lack of sound proofing, shower/flushing toilet quite loud from room next door/above.
Staff were very friendly. Nice size room. Food lovely and lots of choice, well served and they did not rush you.
Although clean, room was a little tired and carpet needed replacing and walls painted.
Central location. Very helpful, friendly staff. Easy check in. Good parking in car park. Very good breakfast. Nice bar area with welcoming log fire.
Shower underpowered & could do with a bit of TLC. Pillows a bit flat

The room we had was tired and needs a general update. There was mould on the windows and bathroom ceiling.
