Pros:

Not a lot to like

Cons:

Decoration in the room/hotel needs attention, bath is difficult to stand in for a shower (too narrow). Very noisy from the bar, on Saturday went on until 12:30 am. Breakfast on the Saturday was very poor, did open on time, chef didn't arrive until 8:10, no milk for cereal until 8:25 and no bread for toast before I had to leave at 8:30. Manager not very helpful, didn't accept I had prepaid for Breakfast. Much better on the Sunday

And no one warned that there is music bellow the rooms till 1230 not really acceptable

Disappointing
Pros:

Clean comfortable best and functional bathroom.

Cons:

Clean bedroom but decor scruffy.
Dining room tired and grubby, all carpets and seating old and didn't look clean.
Sound proofing zero with creaky floors and corridors.

Pros:

We have stayed here on a few occasions, we are regulars at Newmarket for a host of reasons as well as the horse racing. The White Hart is a lively pub on racedays showing a variety of sports on big TV's, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is of good quality and fair value. Parking is on site and excellent, rooms have always been big enough and well equipped and always exceptionally clean.
