MPM Hotel Orel

Just returned from a 10 night stay at mpm hotel orel. Room was spacious and cleaned everyday very kind maid who smiled and waved everytime we saw her (10th floor). The lifts were a bit of a pain very slow . Food was alright as a picky eater I managed to find something to eat at lunch and dinner. Breakfast choice was not the best. Pool bar was best to get the alcoholic drinks from lots of choice to choose from. Pool area was quiet most days and easy to get a sun lounger got busier as day went on. Lots of sun loungers on the beach to use again no problem getting one. The strip was like a 2 minute walk down the street however did not hear any noise from this. Tried to get a late checkout however was fully booked so had a lot of waiting around to do as checkout was 12pm and our transfer wasnt until 10:55pm. Overall a very good start at Mpm Hotel Orel would recommend booking .

Good place, good drinks :D, good foods, excellent programs, nice staff (Ali is my favorite). I will probably come back!

Checked into this hotel for a night and found staff so friendly from start to finish. Room basic but amazing shower and comfy beds. Free access to beach bar and beds on beach. Food was lovley. Upon checking out told us to hold onto bands for 2 more hours and have lunch and enjoy the complex bit longer. Pool was great. Would definitely return. Staff made the trip more enjoyable especially the young girl at bar in lobby. Didnt catch her name but was so friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

I do not recommend it at all.
I booked 3 rooms with a sea view, paid extra money. Out of 3, only one received it, the other 2 received room amenities. The receptionists say they speak English, and in fact they do not. There is no way to get along with them,
According to the booking staff, they told us that we would start with lunch, a fact confirmed by the receptionists. When it came to taking it. We were told that it was over.
I found some of the staff to be kind and supportive, but there are certain people at the pool bar who feel like having a good time, but when you have a good time. You get enough, They worked extra, there is also a gentleman in the kitchen with a mustache, as a bodyguard or whatever, he has nothing to do with the kitchen, I think he is put there more to scare people, a rude person.
Regarding the food, a lot of it and tasteless, only a few options available.
Not to mention the fact that if you go in the morning around 9 and you can't find anything, you have to ask the kitchen staff to bring out food, when in fact that would be their role, to provide food until breakfast closes at 10.
Regarding the rooms, I had one person who took care of the room at the beginning of my stay and cleaned it, then another came and didn't take care of it.
That's about it.

Vastaanotto auki 24/7 joten myöhäinen sisäänkirjautuminen sujui hyvin. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja siivoojat siistivät huoneen päivittäin, siellä oli raikas tuoksu. Ruoka ei ollut suomalaiseen makuun kovin hyvää ja lounaalla ja illallisella aina samat ruoat lähes päivittäin. Aktiviteetit ei myöskään toteutuneet kun ei tarpeeksi osallistujia. Sijainti oli hyvä ja oma yksityinen ranta omalla rantabaarilla plussaa.

The food is terrible!! Catered for polish and Russians. Snack bar served same slop every day is same been on alot of all inclusive and has to be the worse hotel is fine apart from the food is best described as slop!!!!

Loads of sunloungers with 2 good size pools and a pool bar in the centre of them. Was in a great location right opposite the beach our board was all inclusive but we ate out most nights as the food was catered for the local Bulgarians which was not our taste the coffee is good but it's served in tiny cardboard cups and the drinks are served in tiny and flimsy plastic cups

Where to start! When you first arrive, it's clear that there are 2 parts to this hotel, Orel on the right and Astoria on the left. Guests of both sides have full access to everything that the other one has with the exception of the dining area, this is split for each sides guests. We were fortunate enough to go very early in the season and, as such, the Orel restaurant was not yet open so we dined on the Astoria side and wow! The food was expertly cooked by a Team of Chef's and was different every single day with so much choice. Later in the trip we went into the Orel restaurant that opened while we were there, it's the same food with less choice (but that's the difference between Orel's 3 star and Astoria's 4 star experience (pay less, get less)).
I travelled with my wife and 2 elderly parents and stayed for 1 week. My parents are both mobility disabled and as such, we requested an adapted room for them. We were surprised to find that, not only was there several lifts to all floors, but ALL rooms were 'adapted'. Our room, was not huge but not too small, full wet room bathroom and a balcony overlooking the street, my parents room was identical but overlooking the rear of the hotel and the sea.
Moving around the hotel with a wheelchair was a breeze, ramps everywhere and lifts where needed.
The hotel is situated a few meters back from the beach with the back gates leading straight to the pedestrian strip with shops, bars, restaurants and even a supermarket.
There are several bars in the hotel, reception bar, pool bar and even the beach bar, each serving cocktails, beers, wine, soft drinks as well as tea and coffee.
The hotel pool was a little cold for me as it was early season and the weather hadn't't warmed up enough to go swimming but it looked beautiful.
So that's the hotel... Now on to why I rated this as 5 stars, the staff.
From first arriving, the staff were bending over backwards to help. The receptionists were there 24 hours a day to deal with any and everything, the cleaners always said good morning and sometimes had a chat. The cleaners did a great job of keeping everything to a high level of cleanliness which I was very impressed with.
The bar staff are wonderful, mostly younger men and women but exceptionally friendly and have a great memory for allergies (my wife is allergic to citrus so whatever we asked for, they made without citrus). They always asked how we were doing and if we needed anything and were happy to do whatever it was we were needing at that time.
The real heroes of the hotel however were the chef's. As I mentioned earlier, my mother is wheelchair dependent and as soon as we walked into the restaurant on the first day, the executive chef, Okan Balçak (an award winning culinary master), came and introduced himself to us and also introduced the rest of his team. Okan then proceeded to go through every single dish with my mother to make sure she had everything she needed. His team were extremely accommodating and even aided us with carrying the bowls of soup or plates of food to our table for my mother.
On the day that we didn't go in for lunch, Okan came and found us in the lobby bar to make sure we were ok.
He even made my mother special desserts to make her feel extra special which was a beautiful thing to do.
On our last full day, he came to find us in the Orel restaurant to say good bye and have a photo with us (on his phone!! So he could remember us) and gave my mother and wife a little gift as a bon voyage.
In short because of the staff, we had the most amazing week and would highly recommend this hotel to ANYONE visiting Bulgaria for the first time (or the fifth or fiftieth for that matter). A wonderful experience, a wonderful hotel and a wonderful country, we will be going back again.

Very nice staff, clean and very close to the beach

We really liked everything! Especially the animator guys, cheerful, smiling, always lifted the mood with their dances. There is a disco for children every evening, it’s a pity that there is no disco for adults. The only negative is the very cold pool, but we always warmed up in the water gymnastics with the animator Lara, she did not let us freeze.

This is our first time staying at this hotel. There were only positive emotions left, good rooms overlooking the sea, delicious food. The beach is very close, there are hotel sun loungers and a bar. The only negative is the lack of a toilet on the beach, you had to go back to the hotel. There is entertainment at the pool, gymnastics, darts, and various games for which you get cocktails. The animators are very good and cheerful, they don’t let you get bored. And a big plus is the animation for children, our daughter was happy and had fun every day in the mini club and at the disco.

Just come back from this hotel not the best at all food was cold every night more or less same food served every night our room wasn't clean in 2 weeks while we was there cleaner just emptied bins fresh towels bed sheets changed every 3 days thats it bathroom never got touch at all we was the only English family there no one spoke to us very rude even some of the staff very rude towards us never again would we go to sunny beach not the same anymore I would rate this hotel a 2 star

Good afternoon. Can someone tell the difference between Astoria and Orel? I don't understand. They are together with everything? What about the sun beds from the beach, for who is the first line, the brown ones? It's a bit confusing. We made a reservation for MPM Orel in august. Thank you in advance for your answers.

it was a very nice hotel i liked the pools because they were big and i also liked the food because a lot to chose from and it was very delicious and i also liked the rooms because they were big and the beds were very comfortable. In adittion the animation was perfect. They were very funny and polite!!

A perfect hotel to go to with your family őr friends. I don't have anything bad to Say about Astoria. Good people , polite staff, fun games áll day with the animation which charge you with positive energy áll day! Much love for Pepy and Káli and Paula!!!!!!!

My best vacation. I loved Sunny Beach, the hotel, the atmosphere. The hotel has to be even more stars!! The outdoor bar was supeer and the pools were very big and clean. Special regards to the amazing animation team that kept us involved in everything. Best girllss Kaly, Rady and Pepy. Zumbaaa is the best🤗🤗🤗

I like the hotel a lot! I loved the beach, I spent great time there with my family also the activities near the pool organized by the animation were super cool. Everytime I was bored I played something with the animation. I rate it 10/10!!

I like the rooms, the food and the staff. My best buddies here were the animation team and the barman Jen. Very hardworking people that love doing their job. Thank you guys for the good time and fun!!
