Pros:

A hotel that manages to surprise. The entrance is in keeping with the neighborhood. Clean, welcoming, and homey. The rooms are surprising because they are spotless, completely renovated, and modern. A hotel I'll definitely want to return to on my next visit to Istanbul. I wasn't thrilled with the breakfast. It's worth trying at most once to sample the typical local flavors. But it's really very spicy

Super zentraler Ort für ein paar Tage Istanbul erkunden
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist 2-3 Minuten vom Galata Turm entfernt und hat eine super Lage. Die Metro erreicht man ebenfalls innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit war vorhanden. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist überragend.

The location of the hotel.

Cons:

The duvet on the bed was very old and torn, which made a very bad first impression. Some of the walls were damp. We had to go downstairs frequently because they kept forgetting to put the water and coffee in the room. The heating either didn't work or turned off by itself, so we were very cold at night. Having to keep asking them to clean the room was a real hassle because hotels usually offer daily cleaning. The hotel staff wasn't very helpful.

Cons:

Very disappointing experience.
We were given a very bad room that was extremely cold. The air conditioner/heating system was not working properly, and the room was uncomfortable to stay in. There was no tea or coffee provided in the room, and cleanliness was poor.
The service at the reception was also very bad — the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.
When I asked to change the room, they refused, saying there were no available rooms, without offering any real solution.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay, and I will definitely not return to this hotel.

Good value, nice room.
Pros:

Location was great, super convenient. Staff was helpful, good value for money. I'd recommend staying here if you want something convenient and won't stay in the hotel room much.

Cons:

Could have cleaned the room, could have given more toiletries. Could have been quieter - easy to hear things outside.

Perfect location just beside the Galata tower. If you don’t like to climb the hill, the metro station is very close and metro is very cheap. The small hotel has a coffee shop at the entrance where you can have a cup of Turkish tea or coffee before going out or when you come back. It’s supplied with heaters, so it’s warm when you have you Turkish tea in the winter. Very friendly staff. Besides, as anywhere else, if you’re polite and kind to the staff, they will pay you back with the same.

Cons:

Rust in the towel rack in the bathroom. Lamp shade was missing. Our room window was into a back yard with unfinished construction. Blocked drain in the shower that drained very slowly. But the staff compensated it with their effort to make you feel comfortable. Besides, we didn’t stay in the room all day. Basic things are ok.
