Great location. Linked to Celtic Manor resort and so easy access to all facilities. Has its own bar and restaurant. Great value for money.
Slightly dated interior.
Rooms in The Manor are a little tired and could do with a makeover. Despite managing to get a room with a walk-in shower for someone with mobility issues, the shower had a step up and no handle to help steady and prevent slipping
Everything
staff very good room good food good fairways not good at at all
Excellent
Very clean and good location
Stayed in the celtic manor loads of times, but this was the first time our breakfast was in the Olive tree and omg it was Bedlam! Worst breakfast experience ever! It was so busy the staff couldn't keep up replenishing the food and glasses for the juices or coffee. When you start serving yourself food, the eggs would run out, then when the eggs come out of the kitchen the bacon had run out, and then by the time the bacon comes out, and you walk over to get a juice to find there are no glasses for juice. By the time I got back to my table with my food it was freezing.
Beautiful location
Got upgraded to the main hotel. Given a lovely big room on the ninth floor with views across to the estuary. Fantastic choice at breakfast. Very convenient for the ICC.
Shower wasn’t powerful.
The Celtic Manor was closed, so we were upgraded to the main Celtic Manor Hotel Resort.
Most of the restaurants were closed, so we asked for plates and cutlery and had an excellent Chinese takeaway delivered, and had an excellent meal in our room.
I was upgraded to the manor resort which was very well appointed in terms of facilities and from my 7th floor room had lovely views.
Although upgraded to a lovely double aspect room, my new room had faulty lights so I was moved to a less visually appealing space.
Service in the bar was a bit hit and miss with drinks charged and then not delivered and table service being hard to obtain.
It was lush 😍 😋
Overall not too bad, food at the PAD restaurant was very good would recommend.
We had a treatment but then was told couldn't go in pool because you need to book it which I think is ludicrous when we got to our room asked for ice bucket and 2 glasses because there wasn't any there it took 2 hours for them to arrive, also having spend £500 for stay for one night and treatments you have to pay £25 to park again I think this is discussing. Breakfast was ok got there at 10.00 am food was only luke warm
Its a lovely resort and I have stayed there several times but there are always some kond of issues nothing really major but things they could definitely improve
Terrific stay, 2 nights attending the Complex Care Forum, hotel facilities were great here and at the resort, only niggles were £48 for covered parking (raining on arrival), pool & spa visits limited to 45 minutes so not as relaxed as a spa might be trying to keep an eye on the clock and drinks were a bit steep but that's our choice! Restaurants very good indeed - Overall I'd definitely recommend because of the sheer quality!
Relaxation and awesome surroundings
