Wine & SPA Complex Starossel

Everything was just perfect. The room was big and comfort. The food excellent and the spa big and better than most 5 stars in Velingrad.

Good facilities. Big and clean rooms. WiFi is good. Good value.

An amazing place with five beautiful mineral water pools made in style of the Thracian ruins discovered near by (a must see). The resorts is made in old-fashioned Bulgarian style village with all necessary luxuries of today. Staff was very pleasant. Food and wine were great. A great place for girlfriends get together (multiple spas with all kinds of services incorporating wine). There were several corporate tram building events going on while we were there. I wish my company would send us to such places. We were there with our kids and my Mom. They loved it. Of all places we visited in Bulgaria this is the place I would definitely go back to. Visiting the Thracian temple and grave built 2500 years ago with unexplainable engineering skills topped the great experience.

The place is great, as always. One thing I did not much cared for is charging the same rates and cutting back on some the facilities in the spa center.

Everything was amazing, however, the dinner could be improved. Some of the food was not a good quality and obviously cheap.

We stayed in a deluxe double room in the Thracian Residence. The room was spacious and comfortable. The king size bed had a very good firm mattress and we appreciated the option of choosing a different pillow.
We really enjoyed the hot water baths in the spa with a variety of water jets, and we also had very good treatments in the spa.
The winery tour and wine tasting was great. We were given individual devices with the English translation of the commentary on the tour.
The food in the hotel restaurant was good and filling, but maybe the one area that could be improved.

Excellent facility for a short family vacation. There's something for everyone.

Great experience, the complex was much larger than I thought. Well maintained. Loved the wine tasting. Spa is nice but a bit crowded. Restaurant for dinner was average. Really enjoyed the large free breakfast.

Warm pools and perfect service.

We love that spa hotel, it’s realy nice, with a traditional bulgarian architecture, but modern spa center with several steam rooms, sounas, and all netural mineral water pools. Food in restaurants is delicious. We were just a little confused by the way the “Starosell” restaurant works, there are five employees on a shift usually, only one of them serves food and the rest are staying arround and watching that poor person, while quests are sometimes waiting for their food for about half an hour? Haven’t seen anything like it nowhere before...
