Pros:

Hotel Edelweiss is an extremely nice, clean and comfortable hotel in the quiet, quaint village of Courchevel 1650. The owner, Bruno, was very helpful with any questions and arranged our taxi to and from the train station. Our room was a nice size for European standards, with plenty of room for all our luggage. The bathroom was up-to-date with nice bath products, replenished daily (note: bring conditioner and wash cloths from home if you use these items). The staff could not have been nicer. Breakfast each morning was extremely adequate with scrambled eggs and other hot items in addition to the usual continental items. Special coffee/hot chocolate machine for specialty breakfast drinks. Good ski room one level down for ski and boot storage (including boot warmers). The hotel location is super great, as the main gondola is just a short walk away (and has convenient escalators) and you can actually ski down to a staircase just above the hotel that is only steps away. We loved that! The Aquamotion Center is amazing and just a short walk or free bus ride away, perfect for that much-needed after ski spa treatment. The little village has several nice restaurants and shopping options; you won’t have to lack a thing! There is also a small bar and nice sitting area in the lobby. While the hotel does not have a lift, the stair situation is very doable and we did not feel inconvenienced at all. In summary, we will not hesitate a moment to stay at this hotel again!!
