Parking is one block away from the hotel in another building. The staff just grabbed all the luggages from the car and brought them to the hotel. He even refused to pass any of the luggages to us to share his load.

Cons:

On site parking or parking in front of the hotel would have been much better.

Σχεδόν τίποτα. Μόνο η θέα από τον τελευταίο όροφο που ήταν και το πρωινό

Όλα. Τα δωμάτια ήταν για καπνιστές!!! Το 2025 για καπνιστές??? Οι μοκέτες καμμένες από τσιγάρα. Τα παράθυρα δεν ανοίγουν και τα δωμάτια μυρίζουν τσιγάρο.
Την εποχή που ήμουν εγώ εκεί, γκρέμιζαν το διπλανό κτίριο. Είχε φασαρία πολύ όλη την ημέρα από 8:00 έως και 20:00 χωρίς διακοπή. Αυτό που μας προκαλούσε τρόμο ήταν ότι το ξενοδοχείο έτρεμε σαν να ήταν συνεχώς σεισμός!!! Δεν ξέρω αν θα έπρεπε να λειτουργήσει κάτω από τέτοιες συνθήκες. Αλλά στην Τουρκία, όπως και στην Ελλάδα, δεν υπάρχει έλεγχος και προστασία του πελάτη. Αν πέσει το ξενοδοχείο, τότε θα ψάχνουν να βρουν ποιος φταίει!!!

Прекрасный отель в центре города
Pros:

Прекрасный отель в центре города. Очень уютный номер со всеми удобствами. Можно ещё чайник добавить. Вкусные и разнообразные завтраки с горячим. Единственный минус, если окна на улицу, то очень шумно. Если не обращать внимания, то все отлично. Рекомендую!

Für Durchreisende ohne Ansprüche

Lage ist top für Durchreisende. Sehr zentral. Frühstück ok. Aussicht schön beim Frühstück.
Personal sehr freundlich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Direkt neben dem Hotel wurde ein Gebäude abgerissen. Mein ganzer Körper hat vibriert. Bin fast vom Bett gefallen. EXTREM LAUT!!!!
Dusche Katastrophe kaputt und überseht von Kalkablagerungen. Das Wasser floss überallhin nur nicht der Schwerkraft nach.
Armaturen kaputt in der Duschkabine gelegt.
Extrem nach Zigaretten riechende Zimmer.

Avoid This Hotel – A Safety Hazard During Demolition!
Pros:

A basic good breakfast in which you could choose what to take. Not a lot but basic and adecuate.

Cons:

During our visit in July 2025, the adjacent building was being demolished. From 8:00 AM until as late as 5:00 PM, not only could we hear the extremely loud demolition noise, but the entire Elazig Gunay Hotel was literally shaking!

As a mechanical engineer from Europe, I can state that this method of demolition, with a bulldozer digging into foundations right next to an occupied building, is strictly forbidden due to the immense stress it places on the adjacent structure. The entire hotel was vibrating significantly from the work next door.

Furthermore, despite what is stated, the personnel at the hotel do not speak English. It was extremely difficult to ask even the most basic questions; we could only communicate for fundamental needs using mobile translation apps.

I would strongly recommend that you avoid this hotel, not just now, but also in the future. If an earthquake were to happen, I would absolutely not want to be in this building after it has endured so much stress to its foundations! Be aware!

Finally, according to locals we spoke with, this is considered a very undesirable area.
