This property is a veritable oasis in the middle of a quite bleak landscape. We chose this hacienda to provide a break in our drive from Pisco Elqui to Santiago and were very glad we did. Everything was great - the amenities, the people, the restaurant, ... We particularly enjoyed taking a walk through the fruit orchards and vegetable gardens, and lounging with our Aperol Spritzs at the pool

This is an amazing oasis of a property. The grounds are stunningly beautiful, the rooms nicely furnished and clean, and the restaurant provides very tasty food both for dinner and breakfast. This was, by far, the nicest place we stayed in Chile at a price comparable to other locations. It would be very easy to use this property as a vacation spot of its own, with swimming pools, exercise facilities, game room, walking trails, etc. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a little confusing to find reception - just keep going further in to the property until you reach the end (just past the restaurant). I would absolutely return for a longer visit. 5 star rating for every aspect!!

Pros:

Hacienda Santa Cristina is a beautiful place , no far from the city with an easy access to the main highway. The hacienda is completely sustentable. They use all they grow.They really care about the environment, their animals and people! Their food is first class simply amizing and they have a complete wine selection to pair with all their meals. The staff is always ready to help, always with a smile! If you have the chance you have to visit this place!
