Clean tidy and friendly
Nothing all was good
Close to a big Sainsbury’s. Safe area. Easy to reach.
The radiator was on in 30°C+ weather and could not be switched off. When we called the front desk because there was no one around after the door was opened for us, they called back after an hour from not picking up and I told them about the radiator issue and the fact that although two adults were booked, only 1 towel had been provided and they said they’d fix it. An hour later when we got back to the hotel, nothing had been fixed so I called again and they picked up and said sorry and would be right there. They did not come for 30 minutes and we had to leave for dinner reservations. Once we got back, they had provided one more towel and the solution to a broken radiator in 30°C muggy heat room was to crack open the window.
The room was also so dusty that our socks turned black and the bathroom had a couple of bugs scuttling around, not to mention the limescale on the toilet.
Comfortable
Fairly good location, a manageable walk into the city centre and maybe 20 minutes from the Cathedral and/or train station. Decent shower (glad I booked an en suite room). Bed fairly comfortable. I was very glad of the fan provided in the room over a very hot weekend.
Odd set up as a set of rooms above a restaurant - very faint smell of Indian food about the place. Thin walls meaning I could hear what neighbours were getting up to. Room not as clean as it could have been. Fresh towels daily but bedding not changed.
I was able to check in early.
The restaurant, which is part of the hotel was great! Staff very nice and accommodating

Really clean & well organised room. Checkout is 11am - relaxed & later than many. Shower, Tv kette coffee & wifi all worked.
Radiator thermostat was broken so the radiator was continuously on.
Comfortable bed and good facilities. The staff member we interacted with was pleasant and helpful.
Cleanliness in the shared bathroom, two were modern whereas one needed upgraded. Mouldy bins and stains.
The staff and property were gorgeous and hospitable! The place was kept clean all week and the food was wonderful! 10/10 I would recommend to everyone I know!!
There were some young ladz (other guests in the room next door) who made quite a bit of noise all night but this was not the fault of the staff at the hotel. Overall, a great experience apart from the LADZ.
