The flooring in our room could do with some extra finishing. We liked the ground floor location as I have a bad knee. Really needs an elevator that works all the time and goes all the way up to the 3 rd floor. Felt a little concerned that the front entrance is open 24/7 with no live staff on site.
Location and ambience of the building
The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor.
Very spacious room
Very near train tracks; lots of evening train traffic
Room was nice,
thin walls, had check-in on tv screen. Prefer direct contact. No direct phone line to someone.
The location was great. Plenty of parking behind the building. The room was clean and the staff were great. No issues accessing the building or room. Highly recommend.
The esthetic was great. Location was right where we needed it!
The elevator was out of order, and we were told after booking. The temperature of the room was hot. And we had zero control. The other guests were so loud, it felt like they were in the room with us. And the refrigerator didnt work.
There was nothing to like about this place
This was a over 100 year old building that had been rehabbed into a hotel there are no fire extinguishers or exits not to mention there is nobody at the front desk
Beds comfy, shower nice
Didn't know elevator was out, mom is 72 and hard for her to climb stairs, air wouldn't go below 72, no coffee pot, dish soap, nor plates in room to put food in micro, no place to get drinks on site...just wished I knew more before I paid for room...
Great location! Liked the size of the room! Loved the shower! ! Great historical building.
Walls were too thin! Heard too much noise from kids one side and the neighbors in their bathroom on the other side! People upstairs running around . Otherwise we had a great time!
Location! Right by Casey's big attractions. Really neat rooms! Not your average hotel.
Location was good. And the room looked well kept and was mostly in order.
The entry door was hard to manage and we could hear the beeps of it opening and closing from the room when people were struggling to manage it.
We also could not get the Roku TV to work. It was not in guest mode so we could not log in to anything.
No blow dryer and no ice
Location was so convenient. We could walk to the shops and restaurants. It's such a cute town and the people were all so friendly.
Our room was beautiful and the access was also convenient.
Location was perfect.
TV was hard to use.
The woman who helped us to our room was so nice and friendly! The room was so clean and had such a homey feel too it. My kids enjoyed the space and the location was so close to downtown.
Loved everything. Nothing bad.
Location in town was close to all the sites to visit. Very unique, comfortable and enjoyable.
You will not meet anyone upon arrival. Apparently similar to a B&B where everything is done electronically. Be sure to read the pre-arrival message to understand the procedures to get into the facility, your room, and where to park. The main floor (2nd story) is 24 steps up, the third story is another flight up. Outside elevator was out of commission, but we didn't need it.
I didn't understand how to inform them of my arrival, via an electronic reply but a phone call worked out. This was unique to me, others may understand this process.
