Disappointing
Pros:

Walking distance to main central plaza, nice hall as shown on pictures in Booking. Nice big bed. Quiet.

Cons:

We booked the loft because the pictures look appealing. In reality the loft consists of 2 rooms connected with an extremely steep dangerous stairs. Already the way to the loft is a narrow staircase. Overall the room was very worn, the bathroom including toilet directly next to the bed, overall very tiny and old. Don’t be deceived by the pictures, reality looks very different. The loft is the only room where you do not get any breakfast (argument that there is a kitchen).

Pros:

Wunderschönes Hotel im "Riad" Stil, man konnte sich im Innenhof nicht sattsehen. Das Zimmer war wunderschön ausgestatten und besonders mit dem Bad oben. Mérida konnten wir super zu Fuss erkunden. Frühstück im Innenhof ein Traum.

Cons:

Der Pool war nicht notwendig.

Beautiful Hotel, close to centre
Pros:

Loved the historic building and bedroom. bathroom upstairs large and modern. Bedroom had a p.c. which we did not use.
Great location for popping in and out of the town centre. Close by Santiago Plaza a hidden gem, very close by.

Cons:

Unfortunately, beautiful as the hotel was, it was totally soleless, we barely saw staff or visitors during our stay. The reception staff, apert from Daniella and Brenda were unforthcoming. one receptionist denied knowledge of music school next door which disturbed and shortened our welcome swim in the hotel pool.
