Not as expected
Pros:

Location was good. Easy access by taxi and public transportation. The room was fine. Looks a bit tired and lack of maintenance. The TV doesn't work even after the maintenance staff checked for 2 times. Can not say valued for money. Standards should be upgraded. It seems there is an issue with smoking policy. The entire walkway was smelling smoke

Awesome Experience
Pros:

Very good and co operative staff . Awesome people managing the hotel . Ground staff is also awesome specially Natasha, sadali, chamod, hasintha made my stay a pleasant one . Thank you so much for this nice hospitality and making my trip great

Good Hotel in Colombo
Pros:

It was a good hotel, lovely room & breakfast. Everyone had a great hospitality. If only the room's AC would be more cooler otherwise it was all good. The check out was quick & smooth, thanks to Piyumi, she was really nice. I do recommend to stay here while you are in Colombo.

Mellow stay at the heart of colombo

Not bad but they can improve staff are nice
Pros:

Easy access to public transport and all shops and restaurants

Cons:

No mini fridge,no iron or ironing board.
Need to ask for bottles of water and refills.
I called three times to get these to the reception desk finally the girls work in the reception send them to me

Pleasant Stay in Colombo
Pros:

We had a really nice stay at Morven Hotel Colombo. The only reason for 4 stars is that some areas could use renovation and the Wi-Fi was quite slow.

Other than that, we enjoyed our stay a lot. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly. Special thank you to Senavi, Natasha, Hasintha and Sadali for making us feel welcome.

We had a great time at the rooftop bar and met Gimhana who was really kind and made the experience even better.

Also thank you to Kusal from housekeeping for keeping our room clean and nice during our stay.

Overall, a lovely stay and we would come back again 🤍

Lovely staff
Pros:

Gimhana and the bar staff were very lovely. The reception staff were also second to none. I wpuld recommend this hotel to any American traveling in Colombo.
