Номер оказался так скажем подуставшим: обои по швам разошлись, окна (стекла) не могли похвастаться чистотой. Оконные рамы тоже подуставшие ). По фото отель выглядел более свежим.
Достаточно чисто и очень приятный персонал. Прекрасный бассейн на крыше, очень чистый и отличный руфтоп бар
Номера немного уставшие. Местоположение не очень удобное, и к набережной, и к любым кафешкам придется пройтись

We had a pleasant stay at Morven Colombo. Overall everything was good but as my opinion the receptionists has to be more friendly, welcoming and has to be aware of the bookings.Moreover restaurant staff should be aware of guests service as well. Room boys did a great job, they were very polite and cooperated well with us, cleanliness was also in good standard. Thank you

I will recomend this hotel.
We booked this hotel through Agoda and clearly requested a double bed smoking room. However, upon check-in, the room we were given was in very poor condition. Instead of a proper double bed, there were two single beds pushed together. There were no drinking glasses, no mini fridge, and the washroom was extremely small and unhygienic. The bedsheets were dirty, and the room was overall unclean and poorly maintained.
Despite all this, we stayed for the night.
The major issue occurred at check-out, when the staff suddenly demanded an additional LKR 10,000 penalty, accusing us of smoking in the washroom. We explained that we had clearly mentioned the requirement for a smoking room in our reservation. Only then were we told that the hotel does not have smoking rooms at all.
If that was the case, we should have been clearly informed at check-in, but this was never communicated.
Initially, the staff argued that no smoking room was requested. When we showed our booking confirmation, they changed their claim and said there was a “No Smoking” sign displayed in the room. We informed them there was no such sign. They took a long time to “check,” which raised serious doubts.
We asked the manager to come with us to the room. There was no smoking sign anywhere. Only after this did they apologize. If we had not gone back to verify, they would have wrongfully charged us.
What is even more disappointing is that despite being located in an iconic and well-known area, this property appears to operate in a way that puts guests at risk of being unfairly charged or trapped into paying false penalties. This experience felt less like hospitality and more like an attempt to take advantage of guests.
This hotel reflects poor management, lack of transparency, and unprofessional conduct.
One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious.
