Lovely modern, clean rooms with everything you need thought of and included - and my room looked exactly like the photo. Loved the communal fireplace and kitchen facilities and know if we had wanted to do a load of washing, there were facilities we could have used. We rode the hotel bikes out to some wineries and lunch and that was an added bonus. Loved that the hotel lets you bring your dog - not only was it nice to have some dogs around the hotel but dog people are the best people!!
Worth noting is the excellent bakery and cafe in super close proximity to the hotel and a pub with great food (I had a perfectly cooked grass-fed eye fillet for $43) and live music on the Saturday night we were there.
Nicky who checked us in when we arrived on the Friday afternoon was great.
Nothing - I stay in plenty of hotels for work (that cost a lot more than this one!!) and honestly, I couldn’t fault Abode Murrumbateman.
The bed was super comfortable. And the room was very clean.
The bed side tables were too small. The toilet was very low to the ground. I have bad knees, so it made it hard to use. Normally I get the disabled access room. But the bed is way too small in that room. It would be great if you had a king bed in a disabled access room.
The young on the front desk whose name was Jack was brilliant.
Only one bottle of water and they were supposed to have census forms that were not delivered and now I am chasing my tail on that whole compliance. Not Abode’s fault. Census Australia just simply nit deliver them and I am internet illiterate.
