Pros:

L’établissement est magnifique et la plage est fantastique, nous sommes seuls au monde, le cadre est idyllique pour passer quelques jours.

Luces, pero también sombras.
Pros:

Gran lobby, piscinas enormes, espacios amplios, muy buena habitación, buen gym, el hotel mas lujoso de la zona. Ubicado en calle de tiendas.

Cons:

La atención de algunos empleados. En recepción quisimos hacer upgrade a todo incluido y no nos dejaron, aun queriendo pagar mas. Los cocineros y camareros del restaurante de la piscina NEFASTOS. Decimos no picante, y traen un plato que le faltaba arder. Nos lo cambian al quejarnos, y encima traen una ración mas pequeña y sigue picando muchisimo (era la misma que devolvimos con menos, y cambiada la salsa). No nos dejaban cambiarlo por otra cosa encima. Feo detalle, ni dejar cambiar, ni no cobrar el plato. Decepcionante este aspecto. Bar de la playa cerrado para huespedes por un evento. Yo pago para poder utilizar TODAS las instalaciones del hotel. La zona de playa que tiene no es la mas bonita ni mucho menos.

Most beautiful place we have stayed at so far. We thoroughly loved our stay, we feel recharged and would love to return
Pros:

It was clean, comfortable on a beautiful stretch of beach. We were looked after really well by the friendly staff, plentiful meals at night and immaculately kept grounds and pool. The chef went out of his way to cater for my dietary requirements.

The perfect place for a peaceful holiday!
Pros:

This was our second stay at Ananya. We love the location and the peace and quiet. The top floor rooms have the most incredible views and the infinity pool is huge and very clean. The hotel is relatively small so it never felt busy or crowded which was a big plus. Rooms are well maintained and spotless. Breakfast especially the Sri Lankan one is a must and there are some nice things to do nearby including the evening lagoon boat ride with Jacki. It is definitely not a place for loud people/partying but if you're looking for proper peace and quiet this spot is for you!

Cons:

The lunch and dinner menu feels a bit limited if you stay for longer than a couple of days but you can get around this by getting a cab into town or walking to nearby hotels for meals (just make sure to check they're opening times). The staff are generally friendly but tend to be quite distant and made us feel like we were bothering them at times which was a shame...

Super détente
Pros:

Très beau resort de 12 chambres. A 25 minutes environ du centre de Tangalle, j’ai passé plusieurs nuits incroyables. Ma chambre donnait sur le lagoon juste à côté (n’hésitez pas à demander à la réception de pouvoir faire un tour). Du petit déjeuner au dinner, ma chambre, le personnel, tout était propres, conformes aux photos et professionnels (les employés donc!). La mer est agitée, de ce fait, la piscine nous permet de nous rafraîchir !

Traumstrand mit schönem Hotel
Pros:

Ein Traumstrand! Und gerade an diesem Abschnitt des Strandes ist es am schönsten. Die Fruchtsäfte und Milchshakes sind super. Das Frühstück war unser Highlight. Aber auch das Abendessen war gut und direkt am Strand. Der Pool ist auch schön. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich, vielleicht ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles in allem, war dieser Ort der Schönste auf unserer Reise.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Traumhafter langer Sandstrand ideal zum spazieren. Ruhige Lage, perfekt zum Erholen. Super großzügiges Sri Lankian Frühstück mit bestem Linsencurry der gesamten Reise. Auch Abendessen ist sehr zum empfehlen fangfrischer Fisch sehr schmackhaft zubereitet.

If you want a quiet and serene beach spot, this is it
Pros:

Walking on the beach here, especially to the east, past the palm trees and occasional fishing boats, and hardly any people, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to pristine pre-development Sri Lanka. Then you return to the comfort of the view from your room, the lovely big pool, and the absence of the usual street noise because you’re at the end of the road.
