The renovation of the centuries-old building and courtyards were tasteful and the decor was charming. The staff were professional and very helpful. The location is only two blocks from the cathedral and Zocolo. Street noise was not an issue. There are many nearby dining options.
The hotel is divided between two adjacent courtyards with four rooms above the first courtyard and other rooms on the ground and upper floor of the further courtyard. The dining room is also used for meetings and banquets. There is also a nice bar that fronts on the street in which you can eat.
We were there for five nights in two rooms on the first courtyard. Our second room, the Presidential Suite (112), allowed cross ventilation between the courtyards through the large front and rear doors prior to closing them for the night. That room also has AC, although we didn't use it. Overall we would recommend the hotel. The Booking rates were better than at the desk.
Our initial room (111) was stuffy and without ventilation, except for a corner tower fan. Okay when the door was open. It would have benefitted from AC. The breakfast, while good, was not generous and consisted of different egg choices. Bread and tortillas cost extra. There is a weekend brunch buffet but that does not come with the room. We did not mind the noise from the dining/meeting area, but it might annoy others. If so, consider rooms on the further courtyard although we didn't stay there.

Bed terrible squeaking all the time we move the mattress was very old soft . The door of the bathroom is expanded so can’t close very noisy and we need to lift for close
La atención de todo el personal, todos son muy amables, sobre todo la recepcionista del turno vespertino y el señor que recibe las maletas, bueno, en realidad todos fueron muy amables en todo momento. La hospitalidad de las personas que ahí trabajan es extraordinaria, no me equivoque en elegir ese bonito lugar para hospedarme, hizo de mi viaje placentero.
En unos de los dias pedimos que la persona de la limpieza fuera más tarde, ya que saldríamos un poco más tarde y solo dejo las toallas , pero ese día no fue a realizar el aseo, además que solo.dejo una toalla y éramos dos personas, las otras eran toallas.para secar las manos, fuera de eso, todo bien.
Estupendo desayuno y ubicación. Gran lugar para visitar el centro de Puebla y alrededores.
El personal que recibe puede ser más atento. Les hice un par de requerimientos durante mi estadía que fueron perfectamente ignorados. Y su actitud tampoco fue la mejor.
Friendly staff and the rooms are pretty. Location wise is amazing and all the management things are easy to do.
The rooms don't really have windows and it is just a big house.. so for the price I think is a bit overvalued.

Todo muy lindo.
Todo fue fabuloso. El hotel es hermoso, la habitación inmensa y bellísima, muy limpio y cómodo. El servicio y la atención fueron superlativos. El personal del hotel nos recibió con tragos de cortesía y subieron nuestro equipaje a la habitación una vez fue posible hacer check in. También se ocuparon de contratarnos un taxi para ir hacia la terminal de autobuses al momento de irnos de la ciudad. El desayuno es delicioso y si vas en fin de semana puedes tener acceso a un gran bufet lleno de delicias locales por unos pocos pesos más.
Lo único negativo fue que la habitación, al no tener ventanas, era bastante calurosa y el aire se sentía estancado.

Las recepcionistas tienen muy poco control de las reservas y servicios que ofrece el hotel. En el check-in iban y venian con las preguntas que les hacia sobre el desayuno, pago, anticipo, etc. En la reserva de booking.com menciona que el costo incluye el desayuno pero ya en establecimiento solicitas el desayuno y los meseros tardan demasiado en servir y atender, hay buffet al que se tiene acceso con costo adicional y por el tiempo tomamos la desicion de hacer uso de él pero esto sucedió en todos los días de alojamiento, esto parece mas una estrategia conveniente para agregar costos. Solicitaron una deposito de $1,000 en el check-in que, en teoria serviría para tener cuenta abierta en el hotel pero durante mi estancia no me permitieron cargar servicio, desayuno ni pago de estacionamiento, en el check-out no me reembolsaron el deposito y debo esperar a que me banco haga el proceso.
Great location and. Helpful staff. The hotel makes you feel like you are in Spain with its original decor and style. Next time I will choose a different room to get some natural light, preferably one of the two at the rear of the hotel. Every room is different and unique.
