Comfortable stay in older hotel with historic vibes. Nice staff . Quite a good location. Some rooms are kind of gloom

Tonnes of character, charm, and welcoming staff.
Pros:

Beautiful, interesting and historic. Close to the Zocalo and the breathtaking cathedral.

Cons:

The room was a bit stuffy and there is no outside window, so the only way to ventilate is to leave the door open. However, the hotel is friendly and safe so that wasn’t a big deal. Also, it’s very old and gives a bit of a haunted vibe.

Pros:

Very spacious room and bathroom. Great shower. Very comfortable. Common areas are ok. Breakfast was quite nice, we got huevos rancheros.

Cons:

Only has a courtyard window but I guess that's fairly common in Mexico - and noone could see in as we were up high.
A kettle and teas would have been nice as well as the nespresso machine, and access to more water (we got one large carafe).
Area is fine, short walk to main square and a more trendy area is a bit south east but also very close.

Todo estuvo perfecto excepto que en Expedía anuncian que todos los cuartos cuentan con aire acondicionado, yo renté 2 cuartos por 3 noches y solamente la suite cuenta con AC lo bueno que no es verano y la temperatura de la ciudad es un poco fría…… la atención de todo el personal es excelente el desayuno incluido muy bueno y si gustan pedir ala carta los precios son muy razonables bueno en lo personal para mí son bajos
