Easy to navigate whereabouts. Central for everything we wanted to see. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy.
Room was abit small for two people to share. No tea making facility. Not much room to put cases etc
Windows sills were very sticky and dirt on floor
And air con stayed on all night making the room cold we could not turn it off
The location was ideal and the staff very friendly and helped as much as they could.
The room was very dated and dirty. The last occupants empty shampoo bottles were still on the floor in the bathroom, the bath was grimy where it had just been dry wiped.
The carpets were filthy and there was dust everywhere.
Half the sockets didn’t work in the room and the tv on the wall was pointless as you couldn’t even watch it from the bed due to the angle of it.
Also false advertising of spa baths.

I’ll be honest — I was a little apprehensive when I first arrived! The entrance is basically an escalator door in a lobby, which initially reminded me of going up into a multi-storey car park! But once you reach reception on the first floor, everything changes.
The receptionist was friendly, engaging and helpful. Check-in was quick and efficient, and he explained everything I needed to know.
My first room was very hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working. I went back to reception, and the receptionist couldn’t have dealt with it better. He went up to check it himself and immediately arranged to move me to another room. No fuss, no excuses — just excellent customer service.
The room was spotlessly clean, with lovely fresh bed linen, and I genuinely couldn’t fault the cleanliness. I was also a little apprehensive about the mattress. When I first sat on the bed, it felt really thin and I thought, ‘I’m going to struggle here tonight!’ But hey ho — it turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. In fact, it was every bit as comfortable as the really thick, plush mattresses you find in some of the other hotel chains.
And one thing that really surprised me was how quiet the room was. Considering the hotel is right in the city centre, I heard very little noise from outside, and also from neighbouring rooms. I’m a light sleeper, but I slept really well!
Yes, the room was compact, but this is a budget hotel, and the size is reflected in the price. I thought what I paid was very reasonable, especially for such a central location.
It’s also only about a ten-minute brisk walk from Liverpool Lime Street station, and there are coffee shops, cafés and convenience stores virtually on the doorstep.
There are no tea- or coffee-making facilities in the rooms, but that really isn’t a deal-breaker for me. With so many places nearby, you’re never far from a decent cup of coffee, cold drink or bite to eat!
Overall, I was very happy with my stay.
