Must visit place for birders
Pros:

What a great place! We are birders and the hotel surprised us with having so many different birds visiting the area down from the balcony of our room, including toucans and guans! If you are a birder this a must stay and enjoy the wealth of birds from your room. Apart from that the food from the restaurant is excellent and the portions huge. Breakfast was typical Tico and wonderful as well.

Cons:

Just a minor thing was that there was no chair or table in the room to place our phones, laptop, medication on, but we took one of the chairs that was on the (very narrow) balcony and used it as table. Worked well.

A beautiful location, on outskirts of town on a busy secondary road.
Pros:

This accommodation is adjacent and affiliated with a good restaurant (La parrilla de pepe). There is an incredible view of the valley and coast westward from the deck of the room. The beds are comfortable and feature a pedestal design enabling cleaning underneath.

Cons:

The location is 8 km northeast of Ciudad Neily up a very busy, very windy road (tight switchbacks). While secure parking for a motorcycle is not available, it was possible to park the bike close to the door of the room. The room is showing a moderate amount of wear and tear.

Cons:

Estaba sucio, daba mucho asco. Habían cucarachas mini en la ducha, cabellos en el piso baño, el cuarto olía a neftalina, habían machas en la cobija y en el mueble donde se ponían los alimentos, telas de araña por todo lado. Y las fotos de booking muy diferentes a la realidad. El jacuzzi no está en la habitación, para que lo tomen en cuenta. Esa fue la razón por la que decidimos ir ahí.
La salida es a las 10 a.m, o sea, uno no puede levantarse tarde y el precio muy elevado por lo que dan.

Las habitaciones muy limpias y lindas, el personal super amable y la comida muy rica.

Me sentí engañada, ya que en las publicaciones apare en fotos de rios y cataratas que ni siquiera son parte de las instalaciones y no supimos a que rio se refieren ( en realidad el motivo del viaje era precisamente para ir al río tan lindo q se ve en las fotos). Después decía q balcón con vista al jardín y al mar. NO SUPE Q JARDIN .
