Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, but had to leave the same day. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, unpleasant chemical smell. It was obvious they were using chemicals to mask another odor — without informing guests.

After just 15 minutes in the room, my sister had an allergic reaction (swelling and a severe headache), so we were forced to check out immediately. We stayed less than 2 hours.

The receptionist initially admitted that they were aware of the smell and that the rooms are regularly treated with chemicals, and that there was nothing they could do about it. However, later the management completely denied any issue.

They refused to provide a proper refund despite the health risk and the fact that we could not stay in the room.

To make matters worse, I did not receive any refund from the hotel at all. The only compensation I received was a small partial refund from Booking.com, not from the property.

After I left an honest review about this situation, the hotel publicly responded by calling me a liar. They falsely claimed that I simply didn’t like the hotel and chose to leave, which is not true.

They also falsely stated that I had been refunded, which is completely untrue.

This is not just poor service — this is a complete disregard for guests’ health and safety, combined with dishonest and unprofessional behavior.

Worst hotel, worst service, and absolutely unacceptable attitude towards customers.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral für Besichtigungen und ein Busbahnhof (z.B. regelmäßige Busse Richtung Bahnhof Termini) sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt und gute Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben bei der Ausstattung des Zimmers und beim Frühstück nichts vermisst und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Отличное расположение,чистота,дружелюбный персонал,хорошие завтраки,великолепные виды из бара на крыше.

Cons:

Центр Рима-круглосуточный шум,окно открыть нельзя!Мы попали в период когда включить кондиционер на холод было еще невозможно из-за невысокой температуры на улице.Без кондиционера тяжело.Неудобные подушки,но это субъективно.

Das Zuhause in Rom
Pros:

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel an bester Lage mit sympathischem und aufmerksamen Personal. Zimmer und Bad waren toll, und inbesondere auch die Betten sehr komfortabel - wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Ebenfalls grosses Plus: Sehr gut isolierende Fenster. Man ist mitten in Rom, Gehdistanz zu zahlreichen Attraktionen, und hat doch absolute Ruhe. Gerne wieder.

Super Kurzurlaub
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, besonders Georgio, er hat uns Café und Cappucino auf die Dachterasse gebracht obwohl dies eigentlich mitte März noch geschlossen war.

Super Lage im Zentrum, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig bequem erreichbar.
