Categories

Cleanliness
8
Mixed reports: several guests praised cleanliness, but multiple specific issues were reported (hair on shower wall, dirty beds, Kleenex left in room) leading to a below-target score.
Service
9.8
Generally excellent and accommodating staff noted repeatedly (helpful front desk, praise for Becca and Justine, attentive hospitality for groups), though there are isolated reports of rudeness, hygiene concerns, and an unaddressed incident involving racial slurs.
Location
9.4
Consistently described as a strong point (convenient to highways, good proximity to food options and local sites), multiple guests explicitly call location 'great' or convenient.
Room Quality
9
Mostly positive: spacious, comfortable beds and strong water pressure reported; balanced by some negative reports (dirty beds, accessibility unit not properly fitted, dated showers in need of upgrade).
Amenities
8.7
Good breakfast offerings and adequate parking praised, but amenities issues noted (pool was unheated/very cold and lacked towels at times, fridge without freezer, missing TV channel guide).
Value for Money
9
Many guests felt the hotel was worth the price and return-worthy for the brand; isolated concerns about paying more for an inaccessible/incorrectly equipped handicapped unit.
Food and Beverage
9.4
Breakfast/buffet repeatedly praised (well seasoned, wonderful selection); a small number of logistical issues (e.g., one evacuation preventing breakfast) but overall strong.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall positive sentiment from many guests (would stay again, excellent experiences), tempered by serious negatives for some (racial incident unaddressed, rude staff encounters, accessibility and cleanliness concerns) resulting in a slightly below-target overall impression.

The facilities weren’t the cleanest.
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

There were racial slurs being said to the kids I was with and the front desk staff didn’t even address the issues. There was hair on the wall in my shower and the Kleenex had one left in there stuffed in the bottom. The pool room had no towels and the water was freezing.

I still rate it a positive stay because we always enjoy staying with this brand of hotel.
Pros:

It was clean! Breakfast was wonderful.Staff were very kind. We used the pool but it was not heated. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

I paid more for a handicapped accessible unit. The bed was too high, the toilet was not raised, and it was a normal tub/shower style in the bathroom. Kinda lost my dignity having to have my adult daughter help me in and out of the shower. They were booked up for reunion and wedding so I didn’t ask to move. I pride myself on my independence.
