Excellent hotel in Sachseln
Pros:

Terrific location, well-appointed rooms, very nice restaurant with a great choice of dishes, convenient parking next to the hotel and - from the room I had - a very nice view over the lake and mountains.

Es hat kein Wasserkocher und auch kein kleiner Kühlschrank, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt etwas mühsam ist und bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse man erwarten könnte.

Cons:

There was no staff present to answer queries, there is no free or paid telephone service to call and enquire, I had to borrow phone from another guest to enquire as I do not have international calling on my mobile. Also room was not cleaned after checkout as I had to checkin at the same room.

Im Zimmer 29 steht das Bett erhöht auf einem Podium. Das ist unbequem und auch unsicher. Nach Rückfrage wurde mir ein anderes Zimmer gegeben.

La réaction de la collaboratrice qui dit ne rien pouvoir faire sans faire de proposition spontanée comme changement de chambre ou rabais

Die Lage neben der Kirche eine Katastrophe. Die Kirchenglocken läuten am Morgen um 7.00 Uhr Sturm. Versteht kein Mensch warum
