Comfy warm very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. We took out and he was made welcome everywhere.
Pros:

We were lucky to have one of the cottages. Very comfy.

Cons:

The cottage was lovely being an old cottage was quite dark in the lounge area but us off

A once great public house and hotel in decline sadly. I do hope this can be turned around.
Pros:

Nice place with spacious rooms and a great shower.

Cons:

Not as clean as in our previous visits and the once great full English breakfast was very poor indeed.

Perfect for what I needed
Pros:

Quiet, comfortable, and clean. The best night's sleep I've had in a while.
They sorted me out with a packed lunch for the next day as well.

Cons:

Would be good to provide some herbal tea sachets in the room alongside the tea facilities. Also, breakfast was definitely missing a non-instant coffee option (any style would be good to replace the not-so-delicious instant coffee).

Best All Round Hotel v Price in Peak District.
Pros:

Good Breakfast and Evening Meal.
Excellent pint of bitter.
Pool and Football Table.
Good size room and tv.
Great shower

Not disappointed but the bed mattress was a little soft.

Pros:

The room was a good size family room just for the two of us. I liked the chairs and coffee table. The bathroom was lovely.

Cons:

The bathroom door didn't close! There was no catch no lock nothing.
The whole place could have been cleaner.
