Lovely stop, good value for money - worth staying here.
Pros:

The staff were lovely - particularly dog friendly and keen to please. The Inn is comfortable and an enjoyable place to stay. They have thought about how best to cater for walkers with and and without dogs and this shows in the layout and rooms available. The food was excellent as was the general mood - could have stayed longer!

Cons:

Managing stairs with a strong dog was a challenge - would have preferred a room on the ground floor!

Es war äußerst schmutzig.
Küche: Der Herd und der Backofen strotzten vor Dreck. Der Fußboden klebte. Das Geschirrhandtuch war sehr schmutzig. Nachdem ich den jungen Mann im Hotel darauf angesprochen hatte, sagte er dass am nächsten Tag nachgereinigt würde, was jedoch nicht geschah. Er tauschte dann das schmutzige Geschirrhandtuch gegen zwei schmutzige Geschirrhandtücher aus. Daraufhin habe ich die Kommunikation nicht weitergeführt.

Das Cottage liegt im Hinterhof des Hotels, in dem auch die Mülltonnen stehen. Es stehen ein Tisch und zwei Stühle neben dem Eingang. Das Ensemble ist jedoch wegen des Schmutzes und der Lage neben den Mülltonnen nicht zu benutzen. Hinzukommt, dass Lüftung und Kühlschrankkühlung des Hotels in den Hof pusten und dröhnen.
Auch nachts ist es somit sehr laut und man kann nicht mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr heruntergekommen. Das Ledersofa ist komplett verschoben, der runde Tisch wackelt in allen Positionen. Irgendetwas hing mal an den Wänden, inzwischen sind dort nur noch Löcher.
Es gab mal scheinbar ein Kindergitter vor der Treppe. Davon sind jetzt nur noch die Haken vorhanden. Die Leuchtmittel sind zu funzelig.

Das Zimmer mit dem Einzelbett ging. Außer dass jemand seine Unterhose darunter vergessen hatte, die natürlich nicht weggeräumt worden war.

Das Zimmer mit den zwei Einzelbetten war komplett runtergerockt. Beide Matratzen komplett durchgelegen. Bei einem Bett sogar das Gestell darunter, so dass man schief darin lag und jede Bewegung quietschte. Die Betten stehen lediglich einige Zentimeter auseinander. Damit ist das Zimmer voll.

Im Bad war die Duschkabine unten verschimmelt.
Das WC war nicht geputzt.

Warum wir kein anderes Hotel gesucht haben? Wir waren mit dem Zug unterwegs und hätten fußläufig nichts anderes gefunden, was den Anschein einer Besserung gemacht hätte.

Great location. Clean

Cons:

Disappointing breakfast . Although quality ingredients tepid at best and rubber eggs . Toaster working on and off and hot water boiler for drinks also playing up so tepid drinks as well .

Struttura molto bella, le stanze sono nuove e moderne e il bagno ha una doccia molto grande e comoda. Comodo il parcheggio privato dell' hotel di fronte l'ingresso. Buone anche la colazione e la cena.

Cons:

L'unico inconveniente è stato l'antifurto dell' hotel stesso che ha cominciato a suonare alle 3 di notte e non ha smesso per circa 10 min.

Easy to find and parking

Cons:

There was no one easily available to check in or check out.

Although breakfast was included: yogurt and mushroom was finished well before end time and even eggs. Then the cook had to run to the shop to buy some.

So, was an incomplete breakfast for sure.
