Arte Spa & Park Hotel

This place is incredibly beautiful and has an amazing spa that provides everything you need for true relaxation. It offers a great jacuzzi, a heated pool, various jets and a comfortable relaxation area with heated beds with LED lighting. However, it would be fantastic to include more vegan dishes and desserts as this would cater to those on a strict vegan diet or anyone interested in trying different flavours.

The massage was fabulous!! The lady who massage me was very kind… the room temparature was good. The lady was from Bali and could speak better english than turkish.. ı had a a classic massage for 45 min and it was enough.. especially after so much walk it made me relax.. l highly recommend it

Absolutely flawless!

I spent 5 days there and everything was just perfect. Everyone of the staff makes great efforts, and I can't praise them enough. Dinner at the restaurant was great, and so was the breakfast.

Rooms are spacious, spotless, and the housekeeping would provide most things you might need during your stay !

The quality of the hotel is higher than that of some 5 star resorts in UK and so is the price.

Very nice hotel, lovely outside pool, wonderful spa treatments, and also face products and treatments of the Biologique Recherche brand, rooms are very clean and comfortable, we only had a shower, wish I had booked a bathtub but no idea if other rooms have it

This hotel has everything, t they have thought of every single detail from baby food in the restaurant, robes for children and adults, to kids indoor play area supervised 9am to 10pm... and you can leave your child while having breakfast or dinner. Very well organized, great pools and food, walking to trails in the forest. My kids didn't want to leave

Positives: it is a nice hotel, with good entertainment options, indoor/outdoor pools, game room. The food is very good (buffet), both for breakfast and dinner. There are many options, and something for everyone.
Negatives: although the hotel is rated as "5 stars", the rooms are not there. The decoration is not spartan, but it is very simple, not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. We had the "deluxe" rooms, and they were very basic. You don't have neither a coffee maker nor a kettle to boil water to make tea, which is something that you get even in a simple Ibis. To be honest, they don't advertise the rooms with that, but still it was disappointing that in a "5-star" hotel you couldn't even make a cup of tea in your room.
So if you consider that your room is just for sleeping and taking a shower, and you don't care about the decoration, you won't have a problem (although the price tag is high considering how the room is). Other than that, you will enjoy the pool, maybe the spa (which is a bit loud, not the calm environment you'd expect, as the spa is right on the way to the pool, so you have people coming and going at all times), and certainly the food.

Okey,this was the first time,when i am in Velingrad.Everything was nice,i set the room to "Do not disturb",so i don't know how they are cleaning ,but anyway!No coffee maker at the room, which is kinda strange.The sheets were clean.But i didn't have this feeling,like i am at a 5 star hotel.After all,I recommend it!

Modern, very clean hotel. Numerous heated pools and spa facilities. Excellent staff, even though some did not speak English. Remy, head of food and beverage, went so out of her way to meet our special needs and did so with so much caring and dedication to her profession!

What an amazing SPA hotel in the mountain in the city of Velingrad - the SPA capital of Bulgaria!!!
Great facilities and location of the hotel, excellent mineral water pools, great food and service and absolutely customer oriented and professional management and service personal!!!

Great selection of quality food for the breakfast and dinner buffet. Very courteous staff and wonderful service. A lot of spa activities. However most of the spa staff can’t do proper massage. I had the worst reflexology- pretty much it was just spreading the oil on my feet. Only Angel is worth booking.

You will forget everyday busyness in no time – SPA zone gives you the feeling of luxury. You can relax in the aroma sauna or steam bath, or immerse yourself in one of the 3 hot mineral water pools, while enjoying the beautiful Rodopa Mountain nature and fresh air.

Nice and elegant apartments, bringing the air of luxury and comfort. Everything is created with attention to detail. Comfortable beds and wonderful large balconies. Very clean.

Big part of that comfort comes from the very professional staff – they know what you need even before you need it and are always ready to help.

Chefs are taking care of the buffet. You can try excellent local goat cheese and vast selection of French ones. Enormous variety of main courses and deserts.

Best place for your vacation in Velingrad.

To all Americans that visit Bulgaria I would love everybody to go here they treated my family amazing the massages were amazing and the Buffay was one of the best I’ve ever had in EuropeThe pools indoor were great they have everything for everybody customer service is tremendously amazing English was no problem if you don’t speak Bulgarian

I loved it! The whole experience in Arte was very nice. The interior of the place is cosy and colourful with the touch of art. Warm comfortable rooms and suites. The SPA is really amazing so I recommend it for sure. The restaurant is offering a 5star food with great variety for every taste.

This hotel is awful...
We went there at Mid. August 2020 for 4 night and we had a hardly 3 star hotel service.
I have been to other 5 star hotels in different places and Countries and nevet experienced this kind of disappointing stay.
As far as we went into our hotel room there was an unpleasant smell in the room, it doenot smell nice and freshs as you would expect from a 5 star nice looking hotel. The carpets was dirty, sheets werent as newly fitted and bathroom floor was always wet. By the way we have stayed on the first floor and even the view is a swimming pool view the first thin you see is the bird poos on the poolside big umbrellas. You dont want to open your windows , not a nice view at all.
The cleaners did not cleant the room for 3 days, she only came on day 4 which was our last day. The even she has changed the bed sheets, the carpet was full of tiny bits ( no hoovering even one day over my nights 4 nights stay) .
We went there with a group of friends and booked 3 double rooms. We also had kids with us. Our stay was around Mid. August 2020.
This was a really disappointing holiday.
It is definitely not a real 5 star hotel at all!
I do not recommend anyone to go there.
ROOMS
On the first day when we had to wait extra hour to be checked in our room. When finally went in the room my first was that there was unpleasant smell. The room did not smell nice and fresh as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The bedsheets didn't look newly fitted and the carpet was not clean.
The rooms are not cleaned daily, the pillows are very dirty, carpets were not hoovered for our 4 nights stay /not even 1 day. Our rooms were only cleaned once for the whole stay and that was on day 4, the day before we left the hotel.
The cleaner was a lovely lady but she was really busy trying to do too much on her own. She was complaining about being on her own and also washing machine was broken that's why she could not change bedsheets for 3 days.
The bathropes that we were wearing were mostly wet as there is no one to change them every day. This means you need to use the same wet bathrope the following day when going to the pools or spa treatments. This doesn't feel nice as you are expecting a higher quality service in a 5 star hotel. Absulutelly disapointing in every way. This happpens especially when you are in a room woth no balcony as you dont have nowhere to dry your clothes and bathrope.
FOOD
We paid for Half Board
When you go to have dinner, you do not even get a free cup of water, every drink must be paid. I do not mind paying but children wanted simethink to drink but the waitress was not around and we had ti wait too long for a cup of water or other drinks.
Many children in the hotel, good for families but not for people without kids. Kids shout all around, in the coridors and out at the poolside of the hotel.Theinside poolside is very slippery and not hygienic . A lot of kids inclyding mine slipped and fall down in my 4 day stay I have seen alot of them fell down and cried. No one cares, not even the lifeguards who seem to be working there. No signs to say it's too slippery for kids and even adults.
There is a toilet just next to the inside kids pool and people use it all day, kids swim in a very unhygienic pool.
No coffee machine in the rooms. No shops or anything similar around.
The food was not bad but too. many bees are going around the food if you want to eat on the tables outside.

We will not go there again as it's too expensive for the hotel service.
THE STAFF
Very unpolite and unprofessional staff.. They seems to soo fed up and they didn't mind to answer your questionss in a very rude way.
Never, ever again!!!

Hotel and accommodation is fancy. Very nice modern rooms, clean, good and cosy restaurant, food was amazing, and the Spa is nice. Food was actually what won me the most. Staff was friendly. Will repeat it. Went to a few other all inclusive hotels after that and could appreciate it even more

Amazing hotel with great SPA facilities

Perfect place to stay for relax and spa. The range of spa facilities is great, the pool is very clean and the staff is very friendly.The location is great - close to a pine forest which makes air fresh, especially in the nights.

The hotel and the restaurant are awesome and the service is great. The rooms are spacious and clean.
However, the music in the lobby bar is too loud and irritating (ok for a disco club, but not for a spa hotel); a quiet jazz or chill out music would be much more appropriate and relaxing. Have not tried the spa yet, as it is a bit crowded during the day.

Very nice hotel but definitely wouldn’t rate as 5* star hotel.
We were very pleased with the spa, food and friendly staff.

Please note: there is smoking allowed in outsides jacuzzi are, alcohol allowed around the pools. No kids spa slippers ( not point to go in spa hotel for 2 night and to bring everything) as a spa hotel you supposed to supply this for the little guests . Coffee machine in the room ( you should compliment the guest with morning coffee at least when we pay £150 per night).
