Some criticisms, some praises.
Pros:

The location is excellent. If it's your thing, any amount of street or food court food is within 200m. The nearest Major "Big C" supermarket is about $US3 by taxi.
My room is very good and equipped with all the basic coffee making equipment. Great shower.

Cons:

The wifi speed is reasonable - 10Mbps but I sometimes I used my faster phone's Hotspot for large file downloads.
Many of the previous criticism's have been directed towards the breakfast. If you are OK with eggs, toast, chicken cocktail sausages, jam and Thai food, all well and good, but there are no cereals, bacon, or milk available. In the room there was no tea. Coffeemate is king.
With its thick perplex shield in the reception area, the reception are is a monument to the Covid era. I would like to think that this barrier and the receptionist's apprehension in using English indicates it is partly responsible for the "Land of smiles" being missing by some of the staff at the Mandy Nok. It's too easy for the staff to hide behind the paraphernalia and put their heads down below the level of the "desk". I didn't get a glance at times today. There was a balcony but you couldn't access it because there wasn't a door to it, only a window.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Clean and comfortable hotel in a lively street. Room was also spacious.

Cons:

Because of traffic our room was noisy early in the morning. There was not a window with any kind of view.

Good Nakhon Si Thammarat Hotel Choice
Pros:

Mandy Nok delivers a comfortable midrange hotel experience at a good price. Rooms are large and well appointed with soft beds and good Wi-Fi. The staff is friendly and professional. Plenty of parking. Good enough breakfast. The Buddhist artwork throughout the hotel makes the hotel more interesting. It's a good location too, next to Robinson Ocean mall and much of NSTs limited nightlife. I particularly liked the larger laptop compatible safe and reusable glass water bottles in the rooms. I would glady stay here again.

Great value, comfortable and spotlessly clean
Pros:

Kitschy decisions in lobby and restaurant. Charming and lots to look at. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Great staff. Great smoothies

Cons:

Wish they had those adorable wooden characters for sale... not just the naked Buddha! Really nice place.

Fantastic value for money
Pros:

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel is fantastic value for the money. Very nice and clean beds, clean rooms and corridors, good enough breakfast and central location.
