Freundlichkeit passt, Sauberkeit leider nicht
Pros:

Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes und bemühtes Personal. Klimaanlage hat funktioniert. Netter kleiner Pool für die Kinder zum Abkühlen nach dem Sightseeing, allerdingsvorher auf unaufgelöste Chlorpads achten. Gute Anbindung an Taxi, Grab, Gojek und Angkots. Supermarkt, Restaurants und ATMs direkt vor der Tür. Den Lärm von der Straße würde ich relativieren, da man bereits bei der Buchung sieht, dass das Hotel an einer Hauptstraße liegt. Von daher kreide ich das nicht als Negativpunkt an. Wir haben trotz des Lärms mit offenen Fenstern geschlafen, da braucht es allerdings zugegebenermaßen einen festen Schlaf.

Cons:

Leider ziemlich abgewohnte, kleine Zimmer, die trotz täglichen Zimmerservices nicht wirklich sauber werden, was aber eher am Gesamtzustand der Zimmer als an den Bemühungen des Personals liegt. Dusche ist eine Nasszelle mit extrem verkalktem Duschkopf. Waschbecken in Kniehöhe im Schlafzimmer. Der kleine Umkleidebereich am Pool ist ranzig mit defekter Einrichtung und wird anscheinend nur selten gereinigt. Die handtellergroßen unaufgelösten Chlorpads am Beckenboden laden Kinder natürlich zum Spielen ein, können bei Berührung aber leicht zu Hautreizungen führen. Frühstück mit lokalen Gerichten ist ok und schmeckt ganz gut bzw. war für mich ausreichend. Frischen Kaffee gab es auch, wenngleich die Maschine nicht gerade die schnellste ist. Wer keine Nudeln, Reis und Ei zum Frühstück mag, muss sich mit Toast und zweierlei Marmelade zufrieden geben. Beim Omelette und beim Rührei konnten oder wollten leider keine Sonderwünsche bzw. Variationen umgesetzt werden. Die Bolognese und Carbonara sahen nicht einladend aus, die sollte man meines Erachtens lieber vom Frühstücksbuffet streichen.

Very good, can't beat the location

Nice room, excellent breakfast and coffee. Top location, only a fifteen minute walk from the station.

Best option to stay in Malang
Pros:

Awesome hotel of a high standard. Small, but convenient and well-thought-out room with a beautiful view, central location (we walked from the railway station - no need to take a taxi) and absolutely amazing breakfast with rich variety of freshly prepared dishes to choose from. Breakfast started at 06.00 (which was very convenient as we needed to leave early) and was served on the top floor with nice city views.
Overall great value for money.

Cons:

We only stayed one night, I wish it could have been longer.

Pros:

We stayed here before we got picked up to do the East Java tour and it was perfect! We got laundry done for a reasonable price aswell. The room was perfect for relaxing and the bed was so comfortable just what we needed before the tour.

The main road can get busy at night so there is a lot of noise
