If you’re looking for a nostalgic trip back to a decaying past, this is the place for you. For everyone else: run.
The "Ambiance"
The first thing that hits you—and never leaves—is the overwhelming, 24/7 stench of fish. It’s not a hint; it’s a full-on assault on your nostrils that permeates every corner of this aging building.
The Room & Housekeeping (Or Lack Thereof)
The facilities are ancient. While the bed was surprisingly comfortable (the only reason this isn't a zero-star review), the "service" was a joke:
• The Hygiene Horror: Housekeeping is a disaster. They actually left used cotton swabs in the bathroom. They didn't clean them up; they just let them sit there.
• The Towel Struggle: It took them three days to realize there were four human beings in the room. Day 1: one towel. Day 2: two towels. Only on Day 3 did they finally master basic math and provide four.
• The Amenities: We had to beg the lobby for shampoo because nobody bothered to refill the dispensers.
The Only "Pros"
• The staff are clearly trying their best to polish a sinking ship, but they’re fighting a losing battle.
• The parking is cheap (500 Yen), but probably because nobody wants to linger near the smell.
Bottom Line: Kyoto is a beautiful city with incredible hotels. Do yourself a favor and pick literally any of them except this one. I am never coming back.

可もなく不可もなく
Pros:

おやつタイムやフリードリンクタイムがありましたが。時間の関係で十分利用できず残念。施設はホテルにしては簡素な造りでゴージャスとは言えませんが可もなく不可もなく普通のビジネスホテルでした。お食事は美味しかったです。又ホテル内の中庭の日本式坪庭もきれいで楽しめました。

Cons:

スタッフの人員不足？で電話が通じにくかったのは不便。ホテルのお部屋(他のいくつかの)のドアのキズや汚れが気になりました。極シンプルな作りです。

Poltrone massaggianti a disposizione degli ospiti che aumenterei nel numero considerato che è possibile utilizzarle per 15 min.
