Westerngrand Hotel Ratchaburi

Stayed for 4 nights it’s clean and safe and good value for money .. it’s a little tired but price is cheap and looks like they are refurbing . Aircon worked very well.. comfy beds .. staff very helpful .

No tea or coffee in the room, no tea at breakfast, only Thai hot food for breakfast

This was good for an overnight visit last summer. We found our twin bedroom to be surprisingly spacious and in possession of comfortable bed mattresses and cozy fitting sheets. There were lots of bathroom amenities which gave a generous 'feel;' to the stay.

Over priced for that particular hotel . I was in Bangkok prior to staying at western grand for much less money and much more modern

シャワーが常温のままでボイラーで焚いている形跡がない。
常温で２３度ほどですが、朝のシャワーがやや肌寒く感じます。熱い湯の
無いシテｲーホテルはどんなものでしょう。圧倒的にタイの方の利用ですから
それで通りますが、日本の方々にはちょっと問題があります。

This hotel was advertised as a 3.5 Star Hotel, with a fantastic breakfast. Neither was true.

For the money we paid, it was excellent value. Beds were very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean, although my wife's bed sheet had a hole, as did a hand towel. As it was, we weren't looking for 3.5 star, just somewhere comfortable in the centre of Ratchaburi, and this was perfect.

Breakfast had a huge variety, but eggs were cold, the toaster made the bread warm (would have needed 5 goes to make the bread brown, the home made jam was unusual, but the coffee from their neat little machine was superb.

I will probably use this hotel again.

飯店太舊，有發霉味道，不舒服！

One night here on business, recommended by the company I was visiting. With breakfast, the bill was about $33USD.

Arrived in the evening, didn’t bother trying to find anything to eat, went to the room and the AC was off. Turned it on, room temp over 30C, great, not very relaxing.

Stripped down and got out the laptop and connected to WiFi, which was intermittent. TV selection limited for English, which didn’t help pass the time while sweating all night and not being able to do much online.

Woke up and temp was 28C in the room in the morning, didn’t eat breakfast, and was glad to leave!

I likely will need to return to the area, but will see if there is anything else a little more suited to a US business person’s needs...

Compact and clean

Probably the best hotel in the area. Basic room with a decent bed and pillow. Reasonably clean although lots of cigarette buts on the inaccessible outside balcony. Breakfast was Ok - no healthy choices. Ok for a one night stay when playing golf in the area. Rooms only Bht 1000 per night. If you want to use this hotel regularly, there are deals that will reduce the price after three or four stays.

My wife and I usually stay here when in Ratchaburi visiting her family. For us the location is excellent as it is very close to her family. For the general public, I would say location is good, close to downtown, with some eateries nearby, but not many. The hotel is getting very tired, and is needing a reform, specially the bathrooms, and the floor (some rooms still have a carpet). The lobby needs at least a change of furniture, really old and not inviting. The room size is good, and the bed is firm and comfortable, but we had to ask for other pillows, as the ones they had in room were too high and really uncomfortable. Breakfast is very limited, but enough, more options in the thai side . Wifi is free in the rooms, and it works well as they have a router in every floor. Fair quality for the price (1000 bahts). All in all, I would recommend it but consider other newer hotels, like Space 59.

If you are looking for good hotel within budget then this is the place. Breakfast was good as lunch and dinner I used to eat outside. Staff is not much familieṛ with English but can't complain by going with the location. If you are planning to roam around city, you better get taxi with a driver who knows English.

Not much choices for hotels in Ratchaburi, so this is the best one they have. Hotel is very dated, rooms are 2-star quality per western standards. Couple things that stood out are the friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff, and the surprisingly decent breakfast buffet that served thai and western choices. Wifi is available but painfully slow. You get the discounted hotel rate by purchasing a 300 baht "membership card". Overall, decent stay, and I'd choose Western Grand again.
