Nice staff
Pros:

I arrived after dinner, and they thought I was a no-show so they gave up my premium room. The next day they moved me to a nice room. The place itself is definitely not fancy. But the staff were all super nice and helpful. The people in Zanzibar are pretty nice and fantastic though, so there’s that.

Pros:

It was okay. I did not expect the Hilton. The wifi the AC worked, there was hot water. Clean. No lift, that was okay for me. The breakfast at the rooftop is fair, nothing special. Opposite to the hotel there is a bank, ATMs. There is also a mall not far away, and a business center, where you can buy SIM. The Darajani Street is a few steps away which leads you to old town.

Pros:

Was charged for the return airport transfer when meant to be included, the phone was broken and no hot water but the staff were mostly nice. I did get an email apologising but no refund as yet so who knows...plus lots of stairs in the heat (hence the phone not working wasn't great). The restaurant only takes shillings so make sure you exchange enough for food or you'll go without like me.
