More clear costing for additional £15 for dogs when booking/looking at prices when selecting dog in filter be helpful.
Clean, old world charm and very pleasant throughout. The room was characterful and well appointed. Conveniently located next to a reasonable public car park which helps.
A small lift would be nice but we appreciate the difficulties in installing one in such an old ( probably listed) building.
The food at dinner wasn’t as nice as it could have been - one good meal one not so good. I suspect it was a one off?

Outside seating area was good.
The building and its furnishings are dated and whilst heritage buildings are difficult to update the furnishings could be improved.
Our son, who was occupying a room on his own was given a far bigger room than ours. Had we all arrived at the same time we would have swapped rooms.
Wonderful quirky old hotel, stayed several times before. The bar the coffee area restaurant all very welcoming and homely.
The pillows were awful, woke every morning with a very sore neck. They were so hard like bricks. The duvet also was far too big for tre bed and far too heavy.

The pillows were terrible! Really lumpy and uncomfortable. The crockery in the dining room at times was dusty and a bit dirty.
