The location of the hotel was good, on a quite road away from traffic perfect for a good night's sleep.The breakfast was excellent and plentiful lots of choice from the menu with the options to have whatever you wanted 2 choices if you wanted more.The staff could not do enough for you and we felt very well looked after
There was nothing we can say we didnt like everything exceeded our expectations. The room decor and furnishings we're of a high standard would of liked a box of tissues in the room but other than that everything was perfect

The choice from the breakfast menu was amazing and the food was beautifully cooked. The large bathroom and the little balcony was lovely. Safe carpark and location.
I could hear music until midnight, not very loud but enough to disturb me, I’m not sure where it was coming from. X
Located on edge of Penicuik town. Directions easy to find property and plenty of parking.
Hotel is lovely and up to date and staff very friendly and welcoming.
Our room was on top floor overlooking side garden (Used stairs). It was very nice and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Had tea, water and coffee facilities (Coffee machine was a hit) .Bed huge and comfortable with nice sheets and towels. Had a lovely bath and shower which was tastefully decorated.
Breakfast was very impressive could pick anything on menu all which was delicious.
We also booked evening meals. There was a good choice and again all food was delicious. Credit to their chef and staff.
We had a few drinks in the bar which was comfortable and also managed to watch a rugby match.
Location is great for visiting places. We went to Edinburgh which I gather you could catch a bus nearby. We drove to nearest park and ride then caught bus in.
Would definately recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The shower wasn't the easiest to manage as when on full power the head kept moving and spray was everywhere.

Not a fan of buffet breakfast or pre made, breakfast was on our table with in 5 minutes of sitting down. Which tells me it was probably pre maid
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Didn't like dogs being allowed in the bar area.
