Komfortables Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, guter Lage und gutem Essen.
Pros:

The Craigie hat eine ideale Lage, um mit dem Bus nach Edinburgh zu fahren. Zur Bushaltestelle läuft man keine 5 Minuten. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Man kann sich verschiedene Dinge von der Karte aussuchen. Auch das Dinner im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Die Karte bietet insbesondere schottische Gerichte.

Ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt mit der erweiterten Familie
Pros:

Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und man fühlt sich vom ersten Tag an gut aufgehoben. Die Bushaltestelle direkt am Hotel bietet sich vor allem an, wenn man nach Edinburgh will. Der Ortskern von Penicuik ist ebenfalls in 5 min fussläufig erreichbar und die heimischen Wanderwege sind auch schnell erreicht.

We wished there could have been a lift in the hotel as we had to ask for help with our suitcases

The menu had a variety of food suggestion which suited our needs.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. We are not big eaters so as I said the choices on the menu were fine for us

Pros:

Fantastic throughout. Could not complain about anything. All staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. By far the best hotel experience we have encountered in a long time. Exceeded our expectations.

Charming, comfortable boutique hotel just outside Edinburgh.
Pros:

A lovely little hotel about 10 miles outside central Edinburgh, on or very close to several bus routes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us great tips on getting into town by bus. The breakfast options were also excellent and the bar was a welcome treat when we got back after a long day exploring Edinburgh.

Cons:

There is no lift/elevator so getting heavy luggage upstairs to our room was a little difficult!

Great hotel, exceptionally accomodating staff.
Pros:

I was one of those difficult customers looking to check in early for a wedding and also iron a shirt. The staff went above and beyond to get my room turned round very quickly for me and had the iron all set up for me arriving. It was very much appreciated and made my life significantly easier that day!
