Goed voor 1 overnachting.
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant. Lekker gegeten!
Mooie, nette kamers met een fijne badkamer, met ruime douche.
Heel goede uitvalsbasis als je Glasgow en Edinburgh wil bezoeken.

Cons:

De bedden: deze waren erg smal en daardoor minder comfortabel. Jammer, want verder absoluut geen minpunten.

A lovely place in Penicuik.
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Our included breakfast was excellent with a very comprehensive menu.
Both the bar and restaurant had the same menu and while it was fairly limited, the food was excellent with very generous portions. We ate in both, the bar and restaurant. Both were nice but I preferred the ambience in the bar. A good idea to book at weekends. Dogs are allowed in the bar, and the staff had a friendly welcome for them.

Cons:

We didn't find anything to dislike.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at.... Loved it
Pros:

We had 5 rooms in all for 3 nights and all of us had such a great experience. The rooms were all spacious, bright, good mirrors, good lighting, accessible plugs, good heating, amazing showers, comfortable beds and pillows. We were attending a wedding and all of the above are important. Breakfast is made to order, great choices, tasty and fantastic. The staff all exceptional and friendly.... nothing to much. Helped arrange taxis. We had bar snack, dinner, drinks and cocktails all top quality. I have absolutely no complaint, loved it. Enjoyed returning every evening.

We all 8 of us loved everything!! Wonderful

Great value and cosy stay
Pros:

Lovely location, easy access to the city in about 30 minutes and great parking facilities around the hotel.
The hotel itself had a cosy feel with lovely staff and a great breakfast menu. Our rooms were cosy and well stocked.
The only consideration would be the slightly dated interior and single glazing windows, however we would come here again gladly. Value for money is great.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff. It was spotlessly clean and bedroom was extremely comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent would definitely recommend

Literie confortable. Mise à disposition d'une cafetière avec dosettes à café + petits biscuits dans la chambre.

Cons:

Quelques petits dysfonctionnements dans la chambre : porte de sdb qui ne ferme pas, spot lumineux défectueux, poussière.. Pour un 4 étoiles c'est un peu décevant mais dans l'ensemble c'est OK
