Das freundliche und bemühte Personal vor Ort und der freundliche Manager

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt mit den Zimmern zur Seeseite mit Blick auf McD und die deutlich hörbare N2, mit Motorenlärm. Der Balkon war nicht schön, ebenso die Sicht, das Zimmer nicht schlecht aber für den Preis hätte man mehr erwarten können. Das Bad war enttäuschend, erinnert an einfache Hotels, aber sicher kein 5* Standard. Da wir uns den Urlaub nicht verderben wollten, sind wir direkt wieder abgereist. Der Versuch eine Erstattung zu bekommen ist gescheitert, man hat uns allerdings einen frei-Aufenthalt in den nächsten 12 Monaten angeboten, mit dem Hinweis dass man gerade renovieren würde und wir dann eins der renovierten Zimmer bekämen. Nett, aber keine Option unter den gegebenen Umständen. Achja, wer wie ich die Bilder der Skybar so toll fand, und vom Pool - die waren wegen Renovierung geschlossen. Wird bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt, alleine das wäre schon eine Entschädigung wert.

Pros:

Stayed in one of the guesthouses. Beautiful facilities, excellent security (the hotel is within a gated community). Outstanding views from the top of the hill.

Tv entertainment had previous searches of porn on internet, the dining only offered one white wine chardonnay by the glass. For a second glass of the same requested, I was offered a pinot gris. Saïd no but wanted the same Chardonnay which arrived after my dessert was finished…. Found the food fine, but wine side poor, especially when they advertise wine cellar,etc. Would have gone elsewhere had I known . In addition requested a fire in the room on arrival. It was lit but died within 30 min. So house was freezing after dinner.

As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working closely with Daniel, the General Manager, from the initial site visit through to the wedding day itself. His professionalism, composure, and unwavering support were outstanding. He was always accessible, offering thoughtful guidance, practical solutions, and a calm, reassuring presence throughout the planning process. This level of attentiveness is both rare and invaluable.

The team as a whole operated with precision and genuine care. From estate security to guest relations, housekeeping to food and beverage, every detail was handled seamlessly. The standard of service across all departments was impeccable.

A special mention to Tristan for his vibrant, refreshing energy, and to Blessing, Valencia, Peter, Chef Garth, Thandi, and Siphokuhle, each contributing to a level of service that reflects true teamwork and pride in what they do.

Daniel’s leadership is exceptional. marked by patience, grace, and a remarkable can-do attitude. He is truly one of a kind.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the Sky Villa team, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a refined, well-executed, and memorable experience.

Fantastic venue!
Pros:

The views are spectacular. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly and polite.

Cons:

We didn't have any dislikes. We would just say that the bed linen is quite starchy and is noisy when changing position when lying in bed. Softer linen would be less disruptive while sleeping.

Well appointed hotel high above Plettenberg Bay

We liked the sky bar, the room, the dining room and the gardens. The staff were professional and polite. The breakfast and dinner was very good also.

Perfectly nice, with very sweet obliging staff, but it just felt a managed from long distance

Cons:

Silly thing to complain about, but it felt like the bar/patio area really needed comfier, more lounge-like furniture. What was there was quite stiff.
I also felt the bar was a little overpriced.
I booked because I saw there was a spa facility, but when i arrived, the spa wasn't available at all.
