Excellent location and friendly reception staff.
Shower didn’t work very well.
Location was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Affordable, especially for last minute travel needs.
This place is a college dorm and hotel during the year, but once the semester is out, it’s strictly a hotel. It was quiet. I was expecting a little rowdy and it was not.
There is a tiny kitchen on the floor to cook and store food.
You get what you pay for for sure and if you don’t read the amenities you will fail to realize there is NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Windows do open, but there’s very little to no circulation. I asked the front desk for a fan and they did not have one as well. I ended up purchasing one at DIY 10 minutes away for $25 and it was totally worth it as a solo traveler.
It’s also worth noting that the shower pressure is fantastic. However, if you accidentally bumped the temperature handle, the water is absolutely scorching within seconds.

This isnt a hotel, nor should it pretend to be. It's a student halls of residence. If I'd lived here when I was a student I'd have been over the moon, but i'm no longer a student.
Also.absolutey freezing cold.
Good location for Globe and Tate Mod. Well-equipped, comfortable,
though no breakfast possible on our date.
Perfect location, great facilities, pleasant personal
On our last night, the fire alarm went off. We went down to the reception with some other people, but no one explained what was going on.

The staff were very supportive, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Great welcome on reception, very clean and spacious room. Lovely and quiet. Really impressive facilitates in the room, comfy bed, good shower, kettle, fridge, TV.

The Junior Suite had a small sitting room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Everything was clean and towels and toiletries laid out on the bed. The location is great, just off the Southbank, behind Tate Modern. Value is reasonable considering it's central London and they had availability at short notice. The Air bnb rooms are all on the top floor, with no mixing with student rooms as far as I could see.
There seemed to be an air conditioning plant outside the window which would have kept me awake had I not had earplugs. There was a ventian blind instead of curtains in the bedroom so, again, my sleep would have suffered had I not had a sleep mask.
