The room was very spacious, and well appointed. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Kettle with tea and coffee. The breakfast choice was nice. Classic Indian dishes, and continental, with unlimited masala tea, coffee, fruit juice, and toast. They have a nice dinner menu too. Preeti, and her staff were very welcoming, and helpful. This is the second stay here, and won't be the last. Its well positioned for the bohemian quarter, and local parks. Highly recommend.
The windows leaked a little rain, although it was a severe thunderstorm. There is also an unsightly amount of rubbish on the view out of the forest view windows, although I'm not sure what the hotel could do about that, it's not their rubbish.
The staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. I would especially like to commend Preeti from the front desk who went out of her way to be accommodating. The other front desk staff were also excellent at their Job. Preeti, while quickly understanding what we needed, also volunteered to be a guide for one of the guests and took her around to show the sights of Delhi, which took the service to a level far above the rest.
The initial interaction with the hotel was not very encouraging, because they didn't accept payment through booking.com, and separate arrangements had to be made to transfer money. We also didn't expect to walk quite a distance to the hotel as public vehicles are not allowed inside the Village. The hotel was also difficult to find but once we were inside everything else seems to work like clock work
The bedroom was ok. I got upgraded, and it was much better than the original King suite I booked but still not great.
The shower barely worked, there was loud banging noises all night, almost like someone was dragging a chair across the floor all evening.
环境很安静,很舒服,谢谢前台美女小姐姐,她人好好,我好喜欢她!!

I’ve stayed at The Minimalist One a couple of times now, and I can honestly say it’s my favourite place to stay in Delhi.
There’s something very special about this place, especially the room I stayed in. This hotel stands out as one of the most memorable places I’ve ever experienced when it comes to hotels or accommodation.
What makes it even more unique is the atmosphere: it somehow makes you feel like the perfect guest, which still makes me smile as I write this.
The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. You feel truly welcomed and taken care of.
Whenever I come back to Delhi, this is the place I want to return to.
If you’re visiting the city, don’t miss The Minimalist One in Hauz Khas Village.
Breakfast is awesome. I requested room service for my parents as it was difficult for them to go downstairs. Room is big enough for four people. We had a beautiful terrace just adjacent to our room.
Location is great. Just beside the Hauz khas village.
I must mention the staff services. They are always ready to help. I thank Nayeem, Preeti and others for that.
I was traveling with my aged parents. We booked a room for four people. It is on the 4th floor and unfortunately there is no lift. It was a really bad experience for people with knee problems. Our room was also not as clean as my expectations. I felt the property needs some renovations. There is no holder where clothes can be kept inside the bathroom. Also a problem with one ac.
Though the location is excellent for visiting the Hauz khas village, when we arrived we needed to walk around 10-15mins from the parking lot to reach the hotel. So I suggest everyone to contact the property because they arrange pick up and drop up from the parking.
Gute Lage. Hostel stilvoll gestaltet vor 20 Jahren. Freundliches Personal.
Zustand leider runtergekommen und ungepflegt. Instandhaltung schlecht. Sauberkeit mäßig. Fotos gefühlt 20 Jahre alt.
Warmwasser und Toilettenspühlung wurde erst auf Anforderung am nächsten Tag repariert.
Amazing staff, great coffee downstairs and breakfast included.
We loved our stay at minimalist one. Very welcoming, very well located, very well kept.
Peaceful, best place in delhi.
Place is dirty.worn out and in need of paint and repairs. Cleaning staff quit en masse while we were there and we were expected to excuse the state of cleanliness on that basis! Filthy.leaking toilet in the lobby leading into restaurant that never had paper and nothing to dry your hands with. Website photos are misleading...must have been taken 20 years ago. Plate with food left on floor of hallway for 2 days on 3rd floor was only removed when we brought it down to the lobby. In summary, the place is a disaster and needs a visit from the health inspector.
Location was brilliant! Short walk to bars, restaurants, the lake and Deer Park.
Facilities were a bit dated but the hotel had a really nice vibe.
The stuff was very very helpful. They were very attentive and responsive towards everything we asked for. From a lost phone in a late night Uber drive all the way to specific dietary needs they did exemptional job while we were their guests. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very tasty. For the usual New Delhi hotel standards it truly stands out. Could recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to New Delhi.
The street is quite busy at night and every morning you can very clearly hear the praying from a nearby minaret which was rather annoying
Location was exceptional! The staff was very helpful and the rooms comfortable.
It was a bit of a trek to get from the primary entrance to the Hauz Kaz neighborhood to the hotel. Due to street congestion, our uber driver could not bring us in - line r pick us up in front of the hotel. If you don’t mind a short two-block walk, it’s well worth it!
