Excellent recommend the Hotel to anyone staying at Telford
Pros:

Staff were excellent nothing to much for them always helpful. Room was comfortable as was the bed and the cooked or continental breakfast met all my expectations. Breakfast staff were lovely always cheerful and interacting with the guests.

Cons:

Nothing that we as a group could we find to improve the stay . The hotel was having some works done but the workmen did everything they could to avoid disruption .

The confusion when arriving. We were 1st told our Hotel was being refurbished and we were booked in next door, only to se sent away and back to the International?

Adequate and close to our Show at Telford International Centre
Pros:

Breakfast was ok. A small amount of hot food to include bacon, beans and scrambled eggs. The rest was the usual continental breakfast.
The hotel is a very short walk from the Telford International Centre for the show we were visiting. The Holiday Inn next door had a restaurant where we ate our evening meal. This was excelled for money and great portion sizes.

Cons:

The Hotel is tired and in need of a freshen up. The bed is very small and very soft. The pillows are not your Premier inn quality and were a bit hard.
The room was not the cleanest with lots of markings and finger prints on the table in our room.

3 lovely nights away

Pros:

The location is very handy for the international centre but this is what the hotel seems to be reliant upon. My room had potential but needs to be improved quickly.

Cons:

The whole hotel was being refurbed. It looked like arriving in a crime scene. This is obviously extended work so we should have been informed before they tookl £130 for the night. My room had no working TV or shower. I tried to report and just got friendly thanks we will look into it. No apologies for the fact I couldn't wash! The bathroom stunk of drains and whilst trying to work out why the sink wasnt draining i made the mistake of taking out the plug... it was disgusting. The shower unit had mould. It was not great. Breakfast was very lack lustre ... limited and luke warm. It feels like this hotel is relying on the fact that it has the prime location but that the whole thing needs looking at. Stay at another big chain as they are all there... very disappointing

Have stayed here for years but think need to try somewhere new
Pros:

Love the location to the International Centre.

Cons:

I understood it was undergoing renovations but bathroom was chipped, dirty and sink didn’t drain properly. Then shower water just went everywhere. Room way too hot. The wardrobe rubber was all hanging off with staples coming out of it.
