Our stay at Le Méridien Xi’an was unforgettable, thanks to Hao Lan’s exceptional service. As a birthday surprise for my partner (their first time in China) Hao Lan went above and beyond—offering early check-in and even arranging a delicious complimentary cake that made the celebration extra special. We stayed at the Panorama King Room with River View, very spacious and great value. The Breakfast buffet was exceptional with a wide variety of choices. we enjoyed everything about this hotel. Its modern, new, clean and uplifting.

Thanks again Hao Lan for your outstanding hospitality! We highly recommend this hotel, especially because of exceptional professionals like you!

Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve.

Quite graciously, the on-site manager, Igor, was able to rectify the situation and compensated us with an evening apéritif. Thank you Igor.

As for the suite we booked in, it was both spacious and had beautiful views. Unfortunately however the Master Bedroom shower did not drain properly and the entire bathroom floor subsequently flooded (architectural issue and NOT a clogged drain); also, the children's upper Bunk Bed had a broken bed post fixture and my daughter nearly fell 2 metres to the floor. Lastly, the swimming pool was closed for 1-2 days during our stay (maintenance or cleaning), this was most unfortunate as it was during the height of summer 40 °C and it is my belief that this 'cleaning' or 'maintenance' of the pool could have been performed at a more opportune time for guests.

In summary, we have top marks for Igor who was very professional, personable and was even accessible during his day off - thank you for making our stay memorable and we feel secure in the knowledge that you will help to correct some of these issues mentioned above.

Hotellet er fantastisk. Beliggenheten er litt avsides, du er avhengig av taxi.

Personalet i resepsjonen gjør sitt beste for at du skal få et flott opphold.

Vi hadde club rom med lounge tilgang, det er første gang jeg har opplevd at dette ikke gir tilgang på frokost. Vi måtte betale 88 RMB pr. person for å få frokost. Dette skulle hotellet ha informert om på forhånd.

Lounge har fantastiske lokaler, men maten var en liten skuffelse. God kvalitet, men lite utvalg.

Jeg bor gjerne her igjen, men bestiller vanlig rom med frokost neste gang. Det er ikke verdt å betale for club rom.

As a more than 10 years Marriott member I was really exited to be the first time in a hotel from the Le Meridien Chain. Even more because the hotel website published commercials as beautiful river view hotel. The real situation, sadly to say is very different. The hotel in the middle of no where and construction sites around the hotel area everywhere. From the "beautiful river view', I attached a picture. From the location, I was prepared from other reviews but I thought Le Meridien (Marriott) does have a club lounge and if not they will publish on their website. Again here the next surprise, I was informed at check in that the lounge is already closed since one year but the hotel did not publish this on website. This did also happen in other Marriott hotels because of the virus but they offer at least some food and drinks on other locations like hotel restaurant for Marriott members. Here nothing, just "we are very sorry". The reason i still give two points is because the room as well as breakfast is OK.
As final comment, for me I will for sure never use the Le Meridien Chain. I really love Marriott Group with Marriott, Renaissance, Sheraton.., but Le Meridien will be never my choice again. In Xian there are several much better choices to use for me in future.

As a member of JW Marriott, I have to say that I am very fond of my stay in Le Meridien. Friendly staffs with smile faces, always very thoughtful in details, especially Linda, the Guest Service Manager I think. My trip will not be this pleasant without her help, and I think I now have a better understanding of this city's history and culture. Thank you for your great service and effort to make my day, and I will definitely come back to this hotel for my future visits.

Linda and all girls in Club lounge provides me very outstanding service! Pretty good customer experience impressed me the most.
Le Meridien Chanba, Xian is the best !

其实这家艾美已经入住（算上这次）5晚了，2018年和妻子1晚，和爸妈1晚，自己一晚，2019年积分一晚，然后就是这次。
本次入住了大使套，感谢Linda姐姐提供的优质服务，入住体验很棒！
整体面积大概3个半乞丐房，客厅超大，办公或开会都没问题，即使开趴也是可以的啊！
开放式厨房也是很赞！
突然觉得自己都心胸都开阔了！
最近艾美不知为什么几乎天天满房，太火爆了。随着2021年全运会的临近，浐灞半岛沿线多家酒店的规划建立，搞不好这个地段以后就厉害了，毕竟西安市区生态环境最好的地方。
结论：酒廊好评！小姐姐们服务好评！
建议：尽量避免大堂check in，因为团客多，不排队，很乱，会影响入住体验。
希望西安越来越好。
希望瑞吉、LC、瑰丽、宝格丽、柏悦、华尔道夫等早日入住西安！

We stayed here for 4 days on business. The room was spacious, clean and well apportioned. The hotel is quite a ways from the central city of Xi'an but is a nice location on the river. Access for our drivers was easy.
Buffet breakfasts were very good. Yolanda, the manager, was fabulous and attended to our every detail beyond what was necessary,
The bar was a little sparse and ill defined, but the bartenders, Lucy and Alice were great.

I would stay here again if willing to be away from the City action.

The best hotel en China for the Luxury and the price, excelente servis, love the stylish clothes, location is amazing, even on the rain day it feels fantasy land, swimming pool is great as well,the whole Apartment has got amazing view, food is delicious, especially black bread, Meat made and cut in Front of you, Hot pot is well spicy so be prepared, We only used restaurante on the ground floor and there are 2 more restaurantes, well impressed

This hotel is a five star gem. The rooms are well lit, beautifully decorated, and large. This is a kid friendly hotel. The hotel has a special play area reserved for young children. The restaurant has a phenomenal breakfast buffet with a large variety of deliciously prepared foods. The hotel also has a delicious Chinese restaurant on the third floor, which specializes in the cuisine of Yunnan province. Overall, the associates at this hotel were among the most helpful I have ever encountered at any Marriott hotel anywhere in the world. Special thanks to Cindy Zhao, who was so helpful and generous with her time in helping me with my travel arrangements. Also special thanks to Linda Cheng, who always made sure I had a vegetarian option for the evening hors d'ouevres in the executive lounge. All in all, this is one of those rare five star hotels that also manages to exude genuine human warmth. This hotel is not located in the center of the town. But a $5 dollar taxi ride will get you to the main tourist and shopping sites. I have generally found that Le Meridian hotels in Asia are extraordinary, and this is absolutely one of the best.

The hotel upgraded me to a panoramic room.
The room was spacious and pleasant.
The hotel interior, restaurant, and swimming pool were clean.

But I think tourists without cars will be uncomfortable because the hotel is located separately by the river.

This Méridien hotel is beautiful from the inside and the outside. We really loved the space, the quietness and the fresh air around. Especially after returning from the center... as mentioned by others, it’s about a 20 min taxi ride away from hustling and bustling Xian. The concierge quickly gets a taxi to the hotel or drives you to the bus!
Besides the concierge, all services are seriously lacking.
1. we booked an extra bed in our room which wasn’t yet put in the room upon checkin
2. when it was there, it didn’t have a pillow
3. after the second night, housekeeping only provided 2 clean towels in stead of 3 and took the dirty ones. I had to call for the extra towel and wait for 30 minutes for it to arrive
4. when ordering a la carte food at either the lobby bar or the a la carte restaurant we either got something else than ordered, or were told (10 minutes into the waiting time) that the item we ordered was not available
5. The bar has 4 or 5 different beers on the menu, but only Corona available
6. the pool closed for cleaning without any warning, at the peak hour of the day.

As we are Bonvoy members, I discussed our complaints with the manager who - judging from all very service minded personnel the next day - did give feedback to the staff. We were also offered a complimentary fruit basket (unfortunately only for 2 but okay, let’s not complain about that). This makes up for 1 point. Unfortunately I really can’t make it more than an ‘average’ for this Meridien...

4th visit this year. This is a nice hotel with fantastic service.
 I have spent 2 days there and during my stay, the Club Lounge is wonderful…especially the Manager Linda Cheng who is warmly and remembered small details of my preference.
Can’t wait to come back :)

Hotel staff are friendly. The location is about 20mins away from city center and taxi fare range between RMB 19 to RMB 22. We prefer a relax enviroment, hence the choice for the hotel. Room is clean and spacious. Recommend for couple trip who want a slow pace and away from the busy city centre

I would like to express my appreciation and thanks for the excellent service and care that I had received at Le Meridien Xi'an Chanba during my stay from 18th March 2019 to 20th March 2019 in room 2305.
The hotel provides great quality service. The room is comfortable and clean. The hotel team had definitely devote their best effort in showing their concern for our comfort.
Every staff member with whom I came in contact was attentive, kind and professional including receptionists, room service staff. Most of all thank you for executive lounge team lady Linda. She had take good care of me during my stay and she gives me some travel recommendations which i think is really helpful.
I have always a great time staying at Marriott and loved the property. I will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends, colleagues and family, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

This hotel is really nice with warm and friendly staff. The rooms are amazing and spacious and the food in the restaurant very good especially the breakfast . If your in Xian for private or business definitely stay here . Nice hotel.

A great hotel close to the major attractions and easy drive from the aiport. Modern, great staff and amenities. The breakfast is amazing with something for everyone. Nice pool and spa area as well. No parking issues either.
