Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten sind sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und fein! Es ist sehr liebevoll gemacht mit selbst Gebackenem.
Das Hotel ist kein Boutique Hotel, sondern ein grosses altes Haus. Für ein Boutique Hotel ist es zu dunkel und zu schwer und es fehlt an Wohnlichkeit, Gemütlichkeit.
Die Möbel sind schwerfällig und dunkel. Der Fensterladen ist im Zimmer drin, dickes, dunkles Holz, das beschlagen ist. Die Fenster - eigentlich mit Blick zum Meer - sind mit einem undurchsichtigen Vorhang abgedeckt, welcher und sich nicht verschieben lässt. Der Frühstücksraum hat keine Fenster, ist eng, aber sehr hoch (es zieht, kann vermutlich schlecht geheizt werden).
Man muss das mögen, in den alten Mauern zu sein.
Um daraus ein Boutique Hotel zu machen braucht es Licht, helle (weisse) Wandfarbe, warmes Licht, Pflanzen und leichte, helle Möbel. Es braucht kleine gemütliche Ecken zum sein und frische Luft - einen feinen Duft (Geruch).

Can’t really think of anything!
The very kind and cheerful staff helped us with car parking, restaurant recommendations, shopping tips and more. We asked for a room change from a double to twin beds and found ourselves in a great and very comfortable attic apartment which made our three-night stay. The beds were super comfortable, the hotel's location was close to everywhere we wanted to be and the hotel itself is homely, happy and charming. We were presented with a lovely limited edition print of a matador as a memento of our happy trip to beautiful Cadiz - even though it rained every day!
We were not overwhelmed by the bread at breakfast as it was just a variation on a theme of tasteless white, so our request to the owner would be please supply some of the excellent bread that Cadiz's bakers produce. Thank you.

The hotel is beautiful, keeping true to its history. We loved details like the old wooden window shutters. It is clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom, and in a great location in Cadiz in the old town and next to the sea. From the terrance you can get a lovely view of the town. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Nothing in particular - some of the decor was a little dated and the terrance seemed to be used as a storage area during our stay so we could fully experience it, but overall we loved our stay.
