Exceptional.
Pros:

Everything from service, to cleanliness of the room and entire hotel was exceptional. I highly recommend to all. Great location and not to mention the price was one of the least expensive options and I felt like I was at the Ritz!

Cons:

Wish I could have had an early check in but that was out of everyone's control.

This hotel was one of the most positive highlights of my visit to New York City. It is no nonsense, no facilities that you won't really utilize, has excellent location, close to subway? check. close to markets and convinience stores? check. Close to many options for dining? Check. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff were exceptionally kind. I want to thank Mr Jose and reception staff for their always welcoming manner and their wish to assist their hotel residents. Also before I forget, the hotel was kind enough to replace tea, coffee, and water bottles each day. Usually in New York hotels one of the biggest problems is waiting for elevators but not in this hotel.

Cons:

The only thing that could perhaps be written is the lack of hotel breakfast option, but really that is no downside in a city like New York where the whole point is to dine outside.
