Pros:

The panoramic views of the mountains from the hotel are hard to beat. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The cleanliness throughout was genuinely impressive. The terrace is a lovely spot for a meal. A relaxed and pleasant setting with beautiful surroundings.

The staff were warm, attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A hotel that takes pride in what it does.

Cons:

The only disappointments were the flies during breakfast and the experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant. The food and presentation were genuinely impressive, but the atmosphere inside felt no different from breakfast. No white tablecloths, strong overhead lighting, flies present there too. A few finishing details were missing for a complete fine dining experience. That said, I would still recommend the hotel for a stay. The quality of both the breakfast and the restaurant food is very good.

Stunning view. Great restaurant, Atmosphere, quite, convenient walking distance from the center and two train stations. Stuff helped us book travel.

Pros:

Fantastic location but on steep slope so be mindful of this if going to town. Really chic hotel and views of Eiger and mountains were stunning. Breakfast fantastic. Evening meal out of this world but you have to be prepared for the prices.

Cons:

We had a room above the smoking area so this wasn’t always good. Can’t get cheaper snacks if you fancied something light. Restaurant was lovely but it joins onto reception/seating area and door to outside balcony which when you’re having a luxury meal is annoying when people are in and out of door and leaving it open, would have been good to have a bit of a screen to separate area
