Double check the price of your booking as price may increase when you arrive.
Pros:

I would have given a higher rating as it's a beautiful building in a very central location with really lovely suites and comfortable beds however two reception staff tried to charge me more than my original booking price which is not acceptable. This needs to be looked into as I am not the only guest who has mentioned this.

Cons:

Dishonesty with the price of the booking. Either a major miscommunication or systemic issue between Roomz Victoria and Booking.com or lack of transparency about the rates until you arrive and end up being trapped into paying more.

Issues not dealt with
Pros:

When my room was downgraded, due to faulty air con, I was not offered a refund of the difference. There was not anyone who could authorise this at the time, and I was directed to email the manager. I have done so twice, but not received any acknowledgement, let alone a proper reply. Disappointing.

Great location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Windows did not open. It was very hot and aircon didnt feel like it worked. I get clostrophonic and the fact that the windows did not open really bothered me.

Roomzzzz are great
Pros:

I’ve read the reviews and tbh I was a bit concerned , but need not have worried , room was lively , ( possibly nicer ones) but it had everything we needed, lovely bathroom ( no bath) just shower , it was large and very clean , shower head needs to be descaled,
Bedroom had a nice wardrobe and dressing type of table , nice big mirror near plugs ( always a bonus) nice big wall mounted TV , bed could have been king size , it that’s just splitting hairs , it was comfortable

Then through to the little seating area , a 2 seater sofa and 1 armchair , it was not the nicest material , but if it gets used and spills on constantly it’s ideal ( could do with a couple of cushions) , a side table , and then a lovely small kitchen

Plenty of cupboards
All the utensils you would need if you wanted to cook
( but there are loads of restaurants on the doorstep) , coffee, tea, milk, sugar supplied in sachets , if you need more ask or get from the 24 hour free coffee machine in reception

Other reviews must have been unlucky with their stays as mine was and still is great , ideal for what we wanted , it’s like a small flat
