Pros:

Spent 4 nights here as a family and never wanted to leave.
Beautiful location right on the beach, modern clean and excellent rooms, great top quality food but the beat bit is the staff.
They are so kind and helpful.
4 days is not enough.
You will not be disappointed!

Lovely hotel, great little beach, top breakfast
Pros:

Such a lovely welcome at this hotel. All the staff were lovely, especially those on reception and Florence at breakfast each day. That girl was insistent we should eat plenty of fruit! Perfectly placed at the quieter end of the town. An easy walk in both directions to nice places to eat and drink.

Cons:

The turtles didn’t come to play while we were there! We’ll need to go back.

Location, location, location....

Cons:

At that price point, we expected more. This was the 12th out of 13 accommodations we had visited in Sri Lanka over a month and was easily the most expensive and easily the worst equipped room. Also disappointing breakfasts: we have had some beautifully prepared breakfasts during our visit to Sri Lanka and this breakfast was poor in comparison. If it had not been for the delightful staff the score would have been lower. The noise from the street (main road from Galle to Matara) and ocean made for four sleepless nights for is, as light sleepers.

Felt comfy and stay. Clean tidy room. Lovely staff ready to help.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent with help yourself fruit and homemade bread and marmalade. The lady helping with coffee and more food was very helpful and smiley. The location was good for us as quieter end of the beach. Comfy and clean.

Great location on Mirissa beach
Pros:

Location was great, at the end of the beach so it was quiet with great views. Beach bars and restaurants only a short walk away.
The hotel restaurant was very good, great food and lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice.
Room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed. The view from the balcony was nice, we could see along the beach, and also saw turtles right by the hotel in the ocean.

Cons:

It’s been mentioned several times but a fridge in the room would be a massive improvement.

Pros:

Познакомились с этим отелем случайно в 2022 году, тогда было мало отзывов рискнули и поехали, испытали полный восторг, локация, вид, шум моря,отличные завтраки перекрыли старенький ремонт. С тех пор мы заезжаем каждый год и с каждым разом отель становится лучше и лучше! Теперь ко всем старым плюсам добавился ремонт, надстроили новый этаж, расширили кафе( очень вкусная еда там).
Лучшее место Унаватуны вдали от шума оживленных улиц, наверное,единственное ,где нет толпы на пляже.
Вообщем , Sun’n’sea наш любимчик в Шри Ланке❤️

Wir würden wiederkommen!
Pros:

Die Lage ist Traumhaft, der Blick aufs Meer 🌊

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Wir haben uns als Familie willkommen gefühlt, hätten gerne noch eine Nacht verlängert.

Die Pizza, aus dem Holzofen - „Tiger“ Prawns, Chili und Limette mega 🍕 🥰
Das Brot zum Frühstück ist zwar auch „nur“ Toast, wird hier aber tatsächlich selbst gebacken.

Cons:

Die super super laute Toilettenspülung.
Wir konnten Nachts nicht spülen, unsere Kinder sind davon wach geworden.
Auch das Mobiliar müsste teilweise mal erneuert werden.

Great stay in quiet hotel with lovely sea view
Pros:

Had a lovely stay here, the hotel was away from the busy part of Unawatuna beach, but nice and quiet and fantastic sea view room with balcony. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Recommend staying here. Restaurant was good too, as was breakfast.

Convenient and friendly
Pros:

Modern, clean, quiet and spacious room facing the sea (not the super noisy side of the street). All staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit limited and small. The lunch at the restaurant was okay with small portions as well.

Lokalizacja odgrywa tutaj kluczową rolę. Personel dokłada tutaj kolejne wartości.Smaczne jedzenie w restauracji dopełnia szczęścia.Prześpij noc ,zostań trzy dni a zakochasz się w tym miejscu!!!
Do oceanu 5 metrów, do plaży gdzie możesz spokojnie pływać 15 metrów.Szum fal i bliskość oceanu daje spokój , z tarasu zobaczysz żółwie.

Abbiamo alloggiato presso il Sun N Sea nell’ultima tappa del nostro viaggio e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Svegliarci ogni mattina con la vista del mare è stato incredibile. L’albergo si trova proprio sulla bella spiaggia di Unawatuna, perfetta per i nostri bimbi. La nostra camera era grande e pulita, i letti comodi e la colazione super. Abbiamo anche mangiato una pizza deliziosa che non ci ha fatto rimpiangere quella italiana. Un grazie speciale a tutto il personale, per la grande gentilezza e disponibilità. Dulcis in fungo l’albergo ha anche una storia interessante: la sua fondatrice, Muharam Perera, lo ha costruito con pazienza e tenacia, e con il suo amato albergo è sopravvissuta e rinata dopo lo tsunami del 2004. La perfetta metafora della forza, intelligenza e resilienza di questo meraviglioso paese che ci portiamo nel cuore.

Best place to stay right on the beach
Pros:

Super friendly and helpful people. Makes you feel like you’re at home. Awesome location. Right on the beach and very close to the restaurants and shops, but not in the noise part of the place.
