Außergewöhnliches Erlebnis
Pros:

Wie haben uns vom ersten Moment an äußerst willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal ist außerordentlich fürsorglich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist herausragend und ein außergewöhnliches Cross-over von japanischer und französischer Küche - das gilt für Dinner und Frühstück gleichermaßen.

Pros:

Very quiet, well decorated and well appointed. Staff was incredibly nice and professional.

Cons:

Lack of on site laundry options (none at all), lack of shuttle from main train station. Shuttle only to closest train station 10m away, but not to/from bullet train station.

Perfect place to stay in Hakone
Pros:

Luxurious but friendly, a place with unexpected history.
The room was spacious, the view from our onsen very calming and beautiful.
The staff is trying very hard to provide the best service possible. The food is exquisite. We enjoyed ourselves very much!

Cons:

Loved everything, but of course it is pretty expensive (for us)

Buena estancias pero esperaba mas.
Pros:

Tomamos la opción del desayuno japones y nos gustó, aunque no son sabores a los que estemos acostumbrados para desayunar.

Cons:

El personal no habla muy buen ingles. No hay mucho que hacer en el hotel.

Pros:

Breakfast was good overall. I once asked for to fried eggs in my room because I had to leave early for a day trip, but they only offered a lunch sandwich which was not very good but eating downstairs. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The dining was nice, but overall the hotel was not worth it.

Pros:

There is limited options of transport from the station to the hotel but the drivers were lovely.

Excellent service and fantastic food made us really feel like home!
Pros:

The location, being so remote and quiet, the excellent and attentive service, and the food which had a great blend between French and local Japanese cuisine.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything we disliked. It would be great if there were more on-premise facilities, like maybe a spa or a swimming pool, particularly as it’s more remote, but the space may be a constraint.
