Hoianese Tranquil Heritage Hotel - Truly Cultural Immersion

This hotel is in a truly fantastic location, on a beautiful street with quirky shops and small cafes, and just a minute’s or so walk from the bustle of the central Old Town.

Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and good value for money. But it’s the staff that really made our stay so enjoyable - all of the women who work on the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. As you check in you receive an in-depth briefing (although perhaps slightly long if you’re tired and just want to get to your room!) about Hoi An and what to do, which is a very thoughtful touch.

Over the course of our stay each of the women made us feel so welcomed; they knew our names, our dietary requirements, and went out of their way to ensure we were well-catered for at breakfast (as a vegan, they ordered me a delicious tofu banh mi each morning from outside, for no extra cost). We made use of the free walking tour, which was a really useful introduction to the town and its history and helped us to better navigate ourselves over the rest of our trip. We also used the hotel bikes to explore the coast.

It was so nice to stay somewhere where the staff truly cared about the experience of each guest. And it was also nice to see a hotel where women are leading - I’m sure this is why it was so great! ;)

The hotel is very welcoming, charming and warm. The service is exceptional. Really. Sunny, Ivy and team (reception, breakfast and housekeeping) far exceeded our expectations. It felt great to stay at Hoianese; we were sad to leave. They offer a series of Cultural experiences that I would strongly recommend. Initially, I was kind of suspicious thinking they wanted to sell us stuff but still, we signed up for the history talk, and a Cultural walking tour, a street food tour and a Bamboo Circus show. They were all great experiences. Really. All of them. We travelled for 30 days and stayed in several fancier hotels but emotionally, Hoianese was just absolutely lovely. We wish Sunny came to our country; we'd be happy to welcome her and family in our house. Just great professionals that kept a strong people focus. Outstanding value.

Tout était parfait l’emplacement est incroyable et les filles Min, Sunny et Ivy sont adorables, mention spéciale aux filles que l’on ne voit pas, les dames de ménage et du petit dej qui sont tout aussi parfaites et joviales. Elles prennent une demie heure à l’arrivée pour expliquer tout Hoi An et vous encouragent à découvrir la culture locale, elles nous ont fait adorer la ville !

Everything was perfect! I had an amazing stay here! The hotel made the whole experience of Hoi An so much more memorable. It is perfectly located, and so close to the markets and Old Town.
The staff is so sweet and kind, and they took such good care of everything. I had come as a solo traveller and they made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. Sunny, Min, and Ivy, were all great and welcoming and gave some really good recommendations for places to eat as a vegetarian.
The room was so comfortable and the interiors of the room were good. They even provide earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Ivy, Sunny, Min, and Tin really made the experience special. From a regional welcome treat to explaining how to make a Vietnamese coffee, they were so warm and supportive. Plus the hotel itself is gorgeous, and the bed was very comfortable.

The property was perfectly located in the center of the old town. Breakfast was wonderful. But especially notable were the staff, who clearly love their jobs and are passionate about Hoi An. Ivy, Sunny, Min and Gavy make a star team! They made recommendations and arranged rides for us, among a million other things. Also, the walking tour guide knows his stuff but is not overly serious but gave us helpful context for understanding Hoi An

Ivy, Sunny and Min and every other single staff member were all fabulous. The sit down at the commencement of sty was very informative and helped us self navigate tourist hot spots in HoiAn. Lovely location and facilities.
