The hotel is ideally situated for access to promenade and town centre, with extensive views of the Humber estuary and about 20 minutes walk to town centre. I loved the olde worldly attentiveness of the staff, merged with the accessibilities of modern day living i.e. good wifi, room tv and ample secure parking. A wide ranging food menu (breakfast/lunch/dinner) was available at reasonable restaurant prices.
As the World Cup football was in progress, maybe having a large screen set up in the bar area would have been appropriate for residents to enjoy (with appropriate volume levels so not to offend uninterested guests).
Lovely unique property with a great friendly atmosphere & clean tasteful decor. Lovely sea/ sand dunes view from the resturant and bedroom. Great location and parking. The food was beautiful and staffing team friendly and approachable.
The only thing that bothered me was the bed, everything was clean and comfy. Couldn’t fault anything. It was just the mattress protector made me so hot and I kept waking up so hot and bothered, so I opened the windows for a bit of cold air & then just noises with a busy weekend night. I think it maybe of been plastic type of bed protector, although I had one bad sleep/ night it’d not put me off from going again as I’d request a fan if I had the same room/ bed. Which I did not as it was late and early hours of the morning this was happening.
The staff and food were excellent apart from uncleared t-spoons and were I can have afternoon snack front room or dinner room.
People at the front desk were very helpful. Let me keep my bag there when it was too big to carry around before my train was due in the afternoon.

The Seaview room was very nice and bright. Bed very comfy and linen very nice.

Everything was Fantastic.
Friendly professional and helpful staff. Large bedroom, large uncluttered lounges. Excellent food and service in the restaurant for evening meal - good value table d' hote menu. Plenty of parking room and mainly very quiet at night.
Full English breakfast on our first morning was somewhat dried up - so we moved on to cold continental for our second day which included plenty of cheese and salami but otherwise somewhat limited

Very close to the beach and staff are very friendly
loved the stay, had a little radiator leak which we were moved straight away and given an upgrade due to the inconvenience, handled very professionally at that point. The evening 3 course meal was really enjoyed. The fact we had a sea view and could watch the ships by day and night was memorable, as we have been coming to Cleethorpes 40 years and holds special memories. Overall a lovely stay
