I had a really pleasant experience during my stay. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organized. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive whenever I needed assistance.

The AC in lobby is not working well, they might be trying to save electricity. Poor staff attitude, but I must say, attitude could be good if you are white skin or look like from the western part of the world. The 4 stars I see looks like it was given 20 years old, I am benching the hotel standard against 2 decades ago lol!

Social Hotel in Tecom is by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is appalling, and their attitude toward guests is a complete disgrace. The staff don’t wear name tags, they refuse to identify themselves, and the so-called manager is nothing but rude and arrogant. There’s no professionalism, no accountability, and no consistency in how they operate.

To make matters worse, they gave us a smoking room without even asking, even though we don’t smoke. The smell was disgusting, and when we complained, they had the audacity to claim it was a “non-smoking room” — while leaving an ashtray right there in the room. If that’s their idea of “non-smoking,” then clearly, they have no clue what hospitality means.

And don’t even get me started on their nonsense with upgrades. First, they asked us to pay AED 75 for an upgrade, then suddenly decided to give it for free. It’s like they make up rules on the spot, change their minds whenever they feel like it, and couldn’t care less about the guest experience.

This hotel is nothing but chaos, poor management, and bad attitudes rolled into one. If you value your money, your comfort, and your sanity, avoid this place at all costs. Staying here is a mistake you don’t want to make.

I had a wonderful stay at Social Hotel Tecom! The atmosphere was really nice and peaceful. The front desk team gave me a warm and friendly welcome, which made me feel comfortable from the beginning. The location is also perfect — very convenient and easy to access. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!

Walked in at 3AM requesting access to the loo where the rude receptionist denied and said “we don’t let just anyone walk-in and use the restrooms, you can see yourself out”
Really? That’s what you do to your hotel guests?
Little did they know my friend was staying here and I come to pick him up..

Not secure for lonely woman! I was taking shower in my room. And I heard someone come inside my room. That was Indian guy cleaner. My door in bathroom was closed. I asked him to come later. But he replied that can’t wait his duty finishing. I asked him to change bed set only. And don’t enter the bathroom coz I am taking shower. After 1 minute he opened bathroom door and entered inside when I was nude! I afraid and tried to cover my body with towel. Asked him leave immediately! He didn’t listen! And was watching my body! I closed door by force! He was for sometime in my room. I heard how he opened and closed all drawers, wardrobe! I shout on him many times till he finally left my room! It’s so terrible! I got a big stress! Management didn’t care!

In addition, old furniture, bathroom. Wall in bathroom was a bit broken. I hurt my finger till blood when was taking shower.
Fire alarm started work without any reason. Disturbed my sleep!

It’s a very nice hotel, it’s got 5 star amenities. It’s well located, just a few minutes away from the red line metro station and max 25-30 minutes away from the most important tourist atractions in Dubai. The rooms are spacious, clean and the hotel staff is very friendly. I recommend this place to everyone that’s coming to Dubai!

We booked a non-smoking rooms but the stench of stale smoke and cig burns in the curtains said otherwise, we requested to move and was told to come back the next day, each day we was told they had no rooms available. They then sprays surface cleaner on the carpets and furnishing. The smell of our clothing when we returned home was disgusting, as a non-smoker I’m utterly mortified that I smelt like stale smoke for my whole holiday.

We ordered room service and then received a call to say they had run out of what we ordered after she’d already said the order was in the kitchen.

The shower didn’t get hot, we complained numerous times but it was never really resolved and was lukewarm. The shower head also completely fell off one of the days, the sink leaked everywhere and the toilet barely flushed. It honestly seems like the place is falling apart.

We stayed with Social on the 5th — 7th Dec.2024.

It is really a perfect venue for the holiday in Dubai.

This property is an excellent well-run ‘value for money’ facility where one is very much willing to return.
The location is very convenient, adjacent to metro Dubai Internet City - 700 m, the surroundings are very helpful with lots of cafes and mini-markets as well as the 24/7 Exchange. Free shuttle-bus to the Blue Waters beach and shopping malls.

We were given a sound-proof non-smoking room with very comfortable DBL bed and all the necessary amenities and especially the tea-pot and the set of tea and coffee.

Housekeeping works very well. The night engineer came in 2 minutes and helped
us with with electricity outlet.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and especially the Reservation Officer - Rasika, who before our arrival answered all our numerous letters with much patience and attention, striving to fulfill our special requests. She did our stay more enjoyable as we entirely liked the provided accommodation on the 7th floor.

In a word, my daughter and I feel very happy to stay with Social and with no hesitation would recommend it to all friends and collegues.

Stayed for three days. By Russian standards, the hotel can claim 3*, by European standards it will go for 4*. The main advantage is the location. The room is standard, no frills, as well as the food is not 4*... By Dubai standards, the price tag is not high at all, you can close your eyes to the shortcomings. It's a shame that there is not a single Russian speaker at the reception who could briefly answer some questions. The problem is with Wi-Fi, it is almost non-existent, as well as soundproofing... In principle, if you stay for a day or two, it is quite acceptable.

I spent 3 months at Social Hotel. The staff was excellent and always smiling. Good position near the metro, restaurants and supermarkets. The room was comfortable with a good view.

very bad experience. I requested a value per night for a months stay for two rooms. They gave me a value that they only fulfilled for 7 days and then when I went to pay they told me that the amount had increased due to Eid. I wrote to the manager again but he still raised the price per night even more so I had leave the hotel in search of another alternative.
the manager Mr. Deepak Thapar is not clear about the dates or the seasons. It is not possible for it to indicate a value and then increase it.
when I took out my things to move and indicated that would leave this complaint on the website, they asked me for the room number and made me a better offer. So I decided to get out of there, even so, I don't respect the first value we agreed on.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THERE IS NOT SERIOUSNESS. I DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.
