Nothing to like here. This hotel is a disgrace, dirty, shabby, disrespectful staff. A group in a nearby room were having a party, lots of loud behaviour, shouting, banging furniture about and smoking . All of which impacted nearby rooms. I eventually made a complaint at midnight but it continued till after 4 am. Staff allowed it
Everythig is fine but the property is a little run down and needs renovation in some areas.
Good hotel good value
Stayed for 3 nights, been to over 50 hotels in Bkk over the years, this was near my home. Not really a tourist hotel as over the river far from tourist places. Shower and air con are very good, but breakfast is probably the poorest I have ever seen. Better to charge more and add some more options other than egg and toast. Staff not at all friendly and no Englsih from what I saw.
I was disappointed the pub next to the massage shop was not open now as that would have been a major attraction for me, love Thai music. 10 baht songtoew bus ride up to Big C and Central store. There is one tourist place not far- saphan ling, monkey bridge where you can feed wild monkeys, about 2 k. Good value for a short stay.
Liked their laundry service. That is about it. 5 days no wifi and staff didn't even care. Cable tv was a total joke. Over 100 channels but all tv advertisements trying to sell stuff. Only able to find 3 channels that was not trying to sell stuff. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. Very very firm.
Rooms need a fresh makeover in the bathroom
The hotel was clean and comfortable if a little unusual arrangement. Booked through booking.com but on arrival they wanted to charge me again for my stay. Room was clean and a comfortable bed however there was no room service throughout my 6 night stay even after I asked for the room to be cleaned. A/C was good but a little noisy and would not adjust to a lower speed
For one night it was OK. Room very tired, wall paper coming off the wall. Breakfast choice very small, eggs or eggs! Live music kept me up until 2 in the morning. Saving grace and the difference between 1 and 2 points was that the shower was great! But will not be returning.
I stayed here for all of April 2018 after I arrived exhausted from the airport. I knew I was making a mistake as soon as I saw the state of the place, but I was so tired and it was past midnight by the time I got there.
The shower is outside the room in the open air (not joking), the rooms are dark and smell musty and you have to ask to get your room cleaned by the staff once a week. If you don't ask, they won't clean it.
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They even tried to scam me on electric, quoting 10x normal electric prices when I checked out. When I asked them to prove it, the price came down to 5x. 9500 bhat for electric for a month was the initial quote for a room I generally only slept in. The rent was 8500 for a month.
They have a 250 ton swimming pool on the roof which my engineer friend tells me could cause a pancake collapse through every floor of the hotel any minute due to the construction. He advised me not to sleep under it.
Do yourself a favour, avoid this hell hole like the plague. If you are forced to stay here, make sure you photograph the water and electric meters.
The rooms are good and specious especially room VIP2 and VIP1 but it will cost a lot more than standard room. The staff are friendly and always smiley. Breakfast experience was terrible. The transportation system from the hotel is very easy but make sure that everything is far from the hotel or resort what ever it called. Also in front of the property there is an adult massage service for men only and night club.
