Korumar Ephesus Beach & Spa Resort, All Inclusive

Where do I start my review. Stunning hotel. Cleanliness was first class, variety of food offered for all meals in the restaurant was incredible. Everyone catered for. Amazing swimming pools. So clean, well managed with plenty of lifeguards. Many many sunbeds on beach and around the pool. Spotlessly maintained. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Bedroom cleaned every day and staff left lovely towel arrangements on our bed most days. Fridges in rooms stocked daily with water, lemonade and coke. Used local mini buses Dolmus to get about. Bus stop just to left of hotel. Lovely gentleman assisted with getting a bus to attend at our stop. Very good price. Cheaper than taxis.
A fabulous holiday with absolutely nothing to complain about. Roll on our nxt visit. Korumar we will be returning.

We arrived at the hotel at around 10pm. We are a family with a 4 year old and 2 year old at the time, the 4 year old being autistic.

As we entered the room, the kids made SOME noise, no more than any other kids would. The person in the neighbouring room felt it was justified to bang on the wall to indicate his annoyance.

The next day we got a call from the hotel lobby claiming the kids are being too loud and that they would kick us out of the hotel. My wife has stage 4 lung cancer and they threatened to evict guests in their country because kids were making noise on a family hotel.

They had no issues that the neighbour himself was being abusive.

They toned down their eviction threat after multiple conversations, but would never accept the audacity of their words. I wanted to be out of there as soon as possible.

Additionally, you see clear preferential treatment. If you are brown, you are no one. If you are white, you are right, and will be prioritised over everyone else.

This was supposed to be a little break for my wife but they were really nasty.

Additionally, the taxis working with the hotel scammed us. Took us on more trips than specified and they charged €15 per stop. I didn't have it though.

The hotel generally does look good but the hallways for the rooms look so old, very out of sync with the rest of the hotel.

I booked through loveholidays and did manage to get some money back due to poor service but even loveholidays were terrible to deal with.

We came here as a large Family group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are great and hotel spotlessly clean but was very busy during our stay. The staff are very hardworking, friendly and helpful they are a credit to the hotel. All the pools are cold but weather was hot so no major temperature problems not being heated. The beach is close by and very clean. The food is fine with decent variety also the Efes lager was decent the same as all other all inclusive drinks. The entertainment was ok much what you would expect so no issues here. The indoor shops are not the cheapest so make sure you bring all your niceties and essentials with you or it will cost you significantly more here like pack of 18 baby nappies £16 euros so be warned. The hotel is situated appropriately 6 miles from Izmir with very little located near to the hotel of interest but plenty of water sports available locally. Overall I would recommend but would not return.

We go there with our friends group of 8 from Iran. The resort was very clean, food was amazing, entertainment programme was really fun and joy. We played dart everyday and it was lots of fun with aynur and onur. Evening entertainment live music, karaoke nights, quiz and parties was so much fun. We didnt have kids but we seen lots of going on for kids, kite fest, cookie parties, inflatables, mini disco every night. We would come with our kids as well. We can’t thank enough to Aynur and Onur for amazing holiday. We will for sure come back

I have nothing but positives to say about the hotel!
We went in early April, which was a mistake because it was FREEZING! The hotel itself was lovely and despite finding something in the food we had to report, it was fantastic.

We came by a different company and a different time at night, but it was worth it, because we made it in time for late dinner and tucked ourselves straight into bed.

We had a lot of ups and downs with my poor nephew as he got stung by a bee, stepped on a fish, banged his head and even cut himself on his cutlery! But he LOVED the slides and the activities with other kids and would beg us to go and play volleyball every day (even after the bee sting on the beach!)

High Praise for everyone on the entertainment, for not only recognising myself and my nephew but treating us so well <3 Joe, max, Ozzy, Minne, Doga, DJ Joseph, Anni, etc were fantastic and sweet and James REALLY hopes to see you next year on his birthday!

The wait staff were lovely as well, quickly swinging into action when we needed a drink or a hand with plates (I walk with a cane) and one gentlemen in the outdoor cafe regularly saw me struggling with a tray of drinks and plates to take to my nephew and mum and carried them for me, what a star!

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and whilst we didn't find an Easyjet rep (like we would with a jet2 rep) the guest relations person helped a lot!

The noise level was not too bad as the entertainment team had all gone to bed so I think everyone had at that point!

Rooms were GORGEOUS, clean, spacious and just an absolute dream! My nephew was actually delighted to have 'his own bed!' instead of having to share. For the time we came and the price we paid, what a bargain!

Whilst the hotel IS some distance from centrum, it is right on the beach, has multiple shops and a spa and ammenities you don't have to walk far to get to.

Highly recommend the Korumar to anyone looking to stay here, it is WONDERFUL!

My only recommendation: Wear water shoes to avoid any bee stings on the beach and fish stings in the sea XD

Overall we had a lovely week at this spotlessly clean hotel. Our room was fantastic. Pools were cold as we expected (buy yourselves a two bare feet thermal rash vest £15 off Amazon!)
Watch out for the stray dogs further up the beach…very aggressive and guests got bitten (hotel should warn guests of this…wouldn’t stop us coming but good to know!). Overall a lovely week away

We booked this hotel as it seemed to tick all the boxes. Perfect sandy beach, hotel on the beach, beach bar, multiple pools, All Inclusive.

My wife booked the hotel and i have to say that before we travelled i thought everything looked too clinical, but from the moment we arrived we knew this was a great place to enjoy 11 nights. Absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. Staff are constantly cleaning stairwells, by the pool, all public areas, rooms.
The staff were fantastic, from cleaners to managers, all were super friendly and helpful. Special mention to one of the waiting staff at the evening restaurant, Seder, he made our sure we were looked after each evening.
Food was not disappointing, we enjoyed a varied menu, with tasty meals throughout the day. Most drinks on offer are original brands like: Baileys, Absolute Vodka, Havana Rum however you can pay if you wanted other brands too.

This is the first holiday in a while where we said to each other that we would love to return. Its not that often we get to say that.

Very friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms.
Very attentive. My daughter has a dairy allergy and the guest services and restaurant staff were great at ensuring all her meals were suitable.

The hotel is amazing, facilities are fantastics, lots of pools and slides for the kids to enjoy!. The place is always very clean and tidy, the staff are fantastic and always very friendly and attend to your needs when needed. The food is very tasty with lots of different choices. The hotel rooms are very spacious, comfy beds and always cleaned. The animation team are some of the best always keeping you entertain with fantastic games throughout the day and awesome
shows at night i would 100 percent recommend this place to someone else.

Lovely clean hotel. Great food, drinks and activities.

We went in October, so evening entertainment was inside and I am sure it would be better outside but still fine. (We didn’t do it every evening, as it was a bit busy inside)
Day time activities were not too intrusive and good. We enjoyed volleyball and Zumba.
The kids loved the water slides and I loved the pool! The beach was also really nice.

We also enjoyed tennis and basketball. (Football available too.) If you want to play lots of tennis, take your own racquets as they were often booked out by other guests (but courts free!)

Food was amazing and also drinks were good quality. (Proper cocktails made each time - even for the kids!)

Rooms were clean and modern.

Spa and indoor pool were also lovely. Kids can go in there, which was fun for our kids but also means there is no adult only zone. Indoor pool went outside too, so you could enjoy a sunset in there!

We did a boat trip to the national park. It was a shame that Ephesus was so expensive, so we decided not to go there.. :-(

Overall a great experience.

First stay at THE korumar hotel. The rooms are very nice spacious, lots of storage. Had a Junior Suite . Staff friendly . The pool is great although a little cold. Beach nice. The food was good and a good choice at all meal times.The hotel is isolated nothing around it and caught dolmus bus into Kusadasi. The evening entertainment was very poor. Sound system not good. Only one decent act of African acrobats all week. We found the evening entertainment very lacking compared to other hotels we have been to in Turkey.

We stayed here for 10 days and What a stay!!!
The pool is the best we have even seen, we could not fault the cleanliness inside and out.
The rooms were modern and well equipped and comfortable.
There was a vast choice of food with themed nights and was lovely.
All the staff were polite, chatty and attentive.
The animation team (espically Crazy Joe) were great and the kids (10 and 14 years) have the best time.
Highly recommended!!!

Just got back from Korumar Ephesus Beach & Spa Resort and it was an incredible experience! The hotel is modern, super clean, and right on a beautiful beach. The food was great with so many options, and the staff were always smiling and helpful. A special thanks to the animation team — they were absolutely amazing! Always full of energy, fun, and made every day entertaining for both kids and adults. From pool games to evening shows, they really made the holiday extra special. Can’t wait to go back! 🌞🎉💙

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and as always it was excellent! The food was so tasty, always something different to eat, always fresh and always great service in the restaurant!

The rooms were perfect, plenty of space, huge bed and big bathroom with brilliant shower. Always kept clean by the hotel staff, fresh towels every day and if we need any extra staff willing to help.

Pool was so refreshing, slides always fun and right next to the beach for a change of scenery.

Animation team as always make this hotel so much more special - always fun, always chatting, always there to help! They’re amazing with the kids, so many activities and events to take part in, and even when there is not an event scheduled you can ask and they will provide the equipment. Joe, Ozzy, Maximilian, Minne, Doga, DJ Joseph, Annie and Onur have been so good to us and our family, we’ll always be grateful to them.

As I said earlier, this is our third time, it always meets our expectations and it certainly won’t be our last time!!

2nd visit to this excellent hotel. Food improved on last year cannot say same for bar staff who were unfriendly and rude, got wrong drinks on numerous occasions. Guest relations lady no better. Restaurant staff were really friendly and welcoming. A la carte restaurant awful booked for 8pm, they were clearing tables by 8 45pm, asked for red wine which was served ice cold! Food inedible. Hotel spotlessly clean. Jet2 rep Ahmed was both friendly and so helpful. In spite of staff problem are thinking of going back next year as hotel is really lovey.

Rooms absolutely fantastic. Very tidy very clean.
Bar staff absolutely brilliant and very attentive and give generous portions.
Entertainment also very good for adults and for kids.
Had a three massages in the spa all very well priced and very very good treatment.
Hotel is not far from kusadasi where there is also plenty to.
Pool was great and the slides were great fun.
Animation team very good fun.
We won bingo as well. Which was great. Night time entertainment was also fantastic. Thanks for animation members ozzy,joe,maximilan,onur,aynur. We will be back next year

bit of a mixed bag this hotel
Pros would be -As some have said, food wise there is plenty and available at any time. Nice cake shop, sports bar, large pool with plenty sunbeds and never had to do the usual early morning run to ensure getting one. Found the staff in restaurant very friendly and hard working. We had a swim up room which was nice size for 3 of us, large pool outside(freezing at this time of year admittedly),fridge restocked free daily also. Drinks were good standard and branded labels were available.

cons- the food was hit and miss. One night we were there lots of people were having chip sandwiches due to the not so appealing dishes on offer. Not great place if you have kids who are fussy eaters either. The pool although massive is very cold so you have to either brave it or just admire it. Indoor pool isn't huge but is warmer at least. The biggest issue we saw was although there were a lot of lifeguards not one was present and manning the busiest pool which was the kids waterpark area. Parents not fussed what there kids were upto were causing havoc sometimes, kids spitting down the slides, running up the slide as others slid down, it was only by luck there wasn't an issue or injury some of the days we were there. Although the parents have to be responsible, having it manned would have cut down on this and ive never been to a resort that hasn't had someone manning this type of area and making sure all kids were able to use the facilities without being hassled or shoved around by other kids. Several families ended up having to try and police the area themselves for there child's safety. No lifeguard we spoke to about it came near or seemed to care. Huge negative for me that it was more a free for all for some kids to do as they pleased without any disciplining. The hotel itself sits isolated so taxi or bus is needed to get anywhere. The beach we went on once was ok but nothing special for a 5 star. The on site shops were a disgrace price wise. We picked up several items in Kusudasi for less than half of what on site wanted. Theres no need for it to be so expensive and a rip off and takes away a lot from the resort. The entertainment barring the acrobats one night was simply the worst standard I have ever seen, it falls miles below any other 5 or 4 star we have stayed at.

overall its visably an attractive hotel, if comparing to other 5 stars in Spain,Greece,etc its a 2 and a half star hotel.
