The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We also appreciated the complimentary croissants and coffee, which were a lovely touch and very enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we experienced a serious issue with housekeeping that significantly affected our stay.

On our first day, the room was cleaned properly and everything was as expected. However, when we returned to our room on the second day, it was clear that it had not been cleaned at all. The beds had been made, but the floors had not been vacuumed, there was dust, dirt and hair throughout the room, and only two towels had been left for our family of three.

When I went to reception to report the issue, the situation became even more disappointing. The staff member informed me that housekeeping had already left for the day and that there was nothing that could be done. I was told that our room could not be cleaned, nor could we be moved to another room.

I politely explained several times that our son has a severe dust allergy and that sleeping in a room with dusty, dirty floors was not an option for us. Despite this, I repeatedly received the same response: “There is nothing I can do.”

I then asked if a manager could be contacted. I was told that this was not possible. When I asked what solution could be offered in this situation, I was essentially told that there was no solution and that only a note could be taken. At no point did anyone appear interested in finding a way to resolve the problem.

As a last resort, I asked if I could borrow a vacuum cleaner so that I could clean the room myself. To my surprise, a vacuum cleaner was eventually left outside our door, and I ended up vacuuming the entire room myself. Having to clean our own hotel room because housekeeping failed to do so is not something I have ever experienced before, especially at a hotel of this standard.

What disappointed us most was not the housekeeping mistake itself—mistakes can happen anywhere.

Prettig, mooie locatie, grote kamer, megagroot bed en perfecte plek om
Pros:

Prachtig pand, heerlijke ruime kamers, lekkere koffie en croissantjes in de ochtend!
Aardige mensen aan de receptie!
En een topplek vonden wij. Ramblas ben je zo en ook casa Battlo paar honderd meter lopen.

Cons:

We misten een koelkastje, dat was echt jammer, geen koel drankje op de kamer helaas…

Pros:

Amazing interior design, stylish and very comfortable. The location was perfect — right in the middle of everything, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Everything was convenient and within walking distance.

Hotel tipo casarão antigo, com quartos gigantes na melhor localização de Barcelona.
Pros:

Esse Hotel fica numa das melhores localizaçoes de Barcelona, simplesmente imbativel. Pegamos o ùnico quarto com sacada, que também foi muito bom!

Cons:

Faltou uma cortina blackout para poder tampar a claridade que vem do banheiro, pois não tem como fechar a porta pesada do começo do seculo sem acordar o Hotel inteiro. O chuveiro poderia ser mais fechado tambem para não molhar o banheiro todo e tambem não tinha bidê. Tudo meio antigo mas funcionando.

Pros:

Отель расположен очень удачно недалеко от туристических троп и магазинов. Ночью бывало шумно особенно 10 мая, когда Барселона выиграла Ла Лигу, но нам это никак не мешало. Ванная и туалет весьма необычные, по сути это как ванная и туалет на балконе. Номер красивый с большими раздвижными дверями, можно красиво пофотографироваться.

Cons:

Номер просторный но как будто пустоватый, для создания уютной атмосферы я всё таки постелил на пол какой-нибудь ковер.
