The breakfast was was good. Good pastries. Sitting on the front porch was nice. The proximity to Forge and Vine was great. The coffee and tea area was very nice.
Only 2 sets of towels, even cheaper hotels put in an extra set. No grabrail in the shower and it was a little slippery.
We enjoyed it very much and will hopefully be back again.
The Groton Inn came recommended to us by a nearby antique clock dealer. It was a lovely place to celebrate our anniversary. Even though it is rebuilt, it is still a lovely example of great history. Clean and comfortable room. We would return if we are in the area.

We had a great overnight stay at the Inn. When we arrived, we enjoyed sitting by the warm fire in the lobby. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
Great location, a very nice facility!
The price was surprisingly reasonable for a last minute drop in on a Friday evening, especially since there was a convention in a neighboring town. The rooms were quite large and open, appeared to be freshly or perhaps recently painted, the beds were comfortable and the pillows like a cloud! The shower was roomy, (walk in) the water pressure good and the hot water was immediate and HOT. The shampoo/conditioner, as well as the shower gel, formed suds as it should (it seems like some places either water down their products or just purchase the cheapest and they don't suds up very well) Continental breakfast offered the usual: yogurt, oatmeal with choice of toppings, boiled eggs, toast, muffins, croissants, a variety of cold cereals, fruit cups, whole fruit, juice, coffee, tea or cocoa. Nothing over the top or out of the ordinary but little extras that get noticed, such as avocado spread for the toast, a variety of jellies and jams in individual mini glass jars, French yogurt, individual bottles of juice.
The breakfast area has several different seating areas so you dont feel cramped or on top of one another or rushed to make room for other guests. (It has a beautiful fire place that added to the rather cozy feeling!) There is a restaurant on site (behind the inn) and a Dunkin Donut across the street. The rug in not only the room, but the hallways as well, were clean and didn't have any faded or stained areas. The staff members were cheerful and friendly, as well as efficient. Our overall experience was a pleasant one and this will now be our go to when in that area.
Definitely missed the breakfast buffet from previous years.
