Good, clean and comfortable room and hotel at reasonable price and very close to central station, dining options and city centre.
Be aware that building work being carried out around (and perhaps to) the hotel, Rotterdam appaeras to be never finished and building work everywhere but still a graet location

We loved the James Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was wonderful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. Would definitely stay there again.

A really nice hotel. I had a top floor room with an amazing view, but even without that, the staff are lovely, everyone is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's in an ideal location for exploring central Rotterdam. No real downsides - there's no restaurant (though there is a pay-as-you-go breakfast bar) and it can occasionally be noisy outside as it's in the city centre. But it's a great place and I'd happily come back to stay here again.

Great Stay!
Pros:

Had a great stay at this hotel. We arrived very early and the staff provided a secure location to store our luggage while we explored Rotterdam. They were able to check us in earlier than their normal time. All of their staff were very helpful and offered great advice for restaurants and activities.

We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Rotterdam!
